Derek Siu 0 Report post Posted February 11, 2009 (edited) Hi guys, here's some photographs taken @ Manchester airport and Liverpool airport. It was my 1st time to spot @ Manchester- Have to say "it was an amazing experience!", prob. one of the best airport you can spot in the UK. EGCC- 24 JAN 2009 So Here are a few of my photos: I was so lucky to see this special paint EGGP - 10 FEB 2009 (20 mins only) So why only 20 mins? This might be a question that you might wonder... I had a flying lesson on the day, after my lesson i saw the bus just left the bus stop, normally takes 20mins for the next bus, therefore decided to spend my time wisely. After taken the shot, I've realized that the person who was sitting on the left hand seat was my friend. Might sell this photo to him  (Just kidding) Although I'm kind of a green person, but i might have to deforest one day- Look! that's what runes the photos. This sums up what's Liverpool's traffic is like - Easy jet or Ryan Air... Can't wait till KLM Joins in the game with their Fokker 70 Edited February 11, 2009 by Derek Siu

Yeah i strongly disagree with deforestation (well, the last time i visited there, all those tree branches has been removed.) Finally a much better view. Great weather on that day as well. Derek, This link is dedicated to you: http://www.scramble.nl/forum/viewtopic.php?f=41&t=49836 Enjoy... hahah!! no wonder...anyway managed to squeeze some time there at the aviation viewing park by the concorde...it was a cold partly cloudy & very windy day...the windsocks looked like it had viagra!!! but it was backlit...sun was at the southern part of the airfield not many traffic too...just managed a few dismal shots of PIA 777-200LR & the emirates 777-300ER plus a few other smaller jets...a lot more departure traffic but from my position...its too far & the backlit situation didn't help...maybe next time i'll walk a bit more & cross to the other side of the runway & catch the departing traffic...i'll post the pics i got shortly... Cornelis Boersma 0 Report post Posted August 14, 2010 Thx mate MAN is a good airport to do some spotting, some good places around. And as I see on your pictures, soms interesting airlines. I am glad you had a good time. Nice catch of KLM Embraer 190 PH-EZP, I believe this is the newest addition to KLM's fleet! I see Finnair downgraded the E90 to E70 C U in AMS in 2 weeks! Indeed, KLC's newest, but not for long: PH-EZR will arrive on delivery @ AMS on 21aug2010 Isn't Viking doing some flights from/to Iraq ?
Teoh Z Yao 0 Report post Posted August 19, 2010 Ahh, I didn't know that one was new... :-) Glad to have taken a shot of it here! :-) By the way, I notice a lot of Embraer... Is it a norm here lately or it has been so traditionally...? I don't see them in S.E. Asia normally...
