T.Y. Bob LEE 2 Report post Posted February 24, 2009 (edited) Monday 23 February 2009 (sorry I only posted these today... didn't have time last night!) 9M-MLA is already very hardworking on the PEN-KUL shuttles. Fresh out of maintenance is 9V-SVB, sporting the revised livery! And since weather wasn't ideal, I decided to go close-up on this OH-LBU operating AY1963 RVN-AMD-PEN. Oh yes... and Kartika resumed operations to PEN on 23Feb09 using the all-white PK-KAD. Edited February 24, 2009 by T.Y. Bob LEE

Sharil Abdul Rahman 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2009 I always find the 767 a funny looking plane - it looks like they took a 777, cut half the cargo area and slapped some tall nosegear

[/whisper] Anyway, I take it as you typo-ed kan.. ....Ye..ah.....Typo there.. anyhow, the 757 looks like they took the 767's fuselage, shrink it a bit to make it NB, chop off about 1/3 to 1/2 of the cargo area space, put back the 767 wings and engines, and a tall nose landing gear. Mohd Azizul Ramli 2 Report post Posted February 25, 2009 Me too. B757 somehow reminds me of lipas (coackroach) I don't know why, maybe it's because of the 'face'. Congratulation to Penang Thread and to Bob especially for having the most high quality photographs of MH's new B738s. The aircraft looks very handsome in MH's colour. T.Y. Bob LEE 2 Report post Posted March 1, 2009 Sunday 01 March 2009 As usual, nothing special today... 9M-AHF with the SIN-KUL sticker just about to exit runway 04 while 9V-SVE taxies by on Alpha in the background. A very symbolic shot, as it is just a matter of time before AK gets the rights to fly PEN-SIN and compete head-on with SQ on this route. Wilson: I drove around looking for you guys after 9M-AFW but couldn't see anyone! I guess you guys must have gone to photograph aircraft on 04 approaches when I went to find you guys? I was slightly ahead of the Rapid Penang bus stop.

Pieter C. 5 Report post Posted March 1, 2009 KLM Cargo Sofian, You'd better get them all 4 as soon as possible: KL, as well as AF and MP will park 2 Freighters each 'in the desert' (MHV or VCV), due to the economic crisis... Rumours are too, that AF will take-over the KL freighter operation to KUL/PEN
