Qantas First A380 (VH-EQA) Delivery

Recommended Posts

Qantas Airways first A380 will be handed over to the airline in Toulouse on 19 September and it will arrive in SYD on the morning of 21 Sep. In between, it will make a transit stop in SIN.

At this point, I do not know the time for its SIN stop . . . but will post it here if that is known. If it is to arrive in SYD in the morning of 21 Sep, it should depart SIN on the night of 20Sep - and hopefully arrives in SIN in the late afternoon of 20 Sep.

+++++++++ve thinking all the way.

Can't the dumbo make it all the way to Sydney non-stop? or was it a gimmick to show SQ that they also have the same toy?? hehe

May be Qantas feel shame after they accuse and blaming us for what had happen 2 weeks ago.. may be also they dont want make third accuse to us if the A380 face any problems after takeoff from KUL..hehehe..

I just joking..We most welcome if Qantas request for stop over..

Keep an eye on teletext for a QF6000 flight number (such as the delivery of A332 VH-EBK yesterday which used QF6008). VH-OQA will be christened "Nancy Bird Walton" and will start a new theme of famous Australia aviators I believe.

oh and for the KL guys, be sure to keep an eye for unusual Jetstar movements, as the last few JQ A320's have been delivered via KUL instead of HKT.

Slight off topic but with recent Qantas's incidents with more recerntly on Aug 7 with a B737 declared emergency due to ait conditioning issue!

Anyway, does anyone here have pics of Qantas B737s in MAS hangar for maintenance and do they fly them direct or via where?

Wow, nitpicking 101 :p

by using scale, 737 can have up to 90+ defects, the mammoth equivalent to how many 73's...??? :pardon: :pardon:

Fendy, grow up!

Kenneth, no "u" in Qantas. It is an acronym, not a word.

Yes, was initially painted in old scheme, but subsequently changed to reflect the new design.
