I really curious, what they do LionAir with 230 planes? is there a large market that would be need 230 planes in Indonesia? More than 22Billion dolars orders seems like really huge budget for Indonesia. Meanwhile, we have to congratulate to Obama about his successful "special marketing".He is working like as a Boeing "sales men" Are they Air Asia still flying over Indonesia or decrease operation?I mean is AirAsia get back from Indonesia market?

Another news from Duabi Airshow about Turkish Carriers. We were expecting new orders from Turkish Airlines or other carriers but first news came out from Atlasjet which is domestic and international carrier of Turkey. hmm, nice attraction for Taipei. I like white sofas on the terrace but they should be "turnoff" the illuminate-lights becouse of they reflecting from the glass-wall!while seating, never seen from airport side by eye-height cause of reflection. UpStairs are great idea.

actually, there is no reliable evidence or proof about electronic devices affected on Aircraft systems. According by reports by crew, navigation systems malfuction or doesn't work properly during flight and when found and shutdown cell phone, all systems remains normally in a few events.Besides, there is a possibility if some conditions becomes together. As you know the most antennas below of along cabin section and near to floor of cabin layer with devices and cables. Scanner is collecting radio waves and even it is "scanner", antenna has capability of minor broadcast.It has much more possibility than digital camera and MP3 player ofcourse! and you maybe recognise suspicious person by other passangers,they maybe bothering about your looks like radio. additional, do you have any plan to through Xrays without problem?

No, there is no restriction for civillian flights but I'm sure they should be inform the traffics for some flightlevels when used by Turkish Air Forces. I don't think so released a NOTAM becouse of it must be secret.

Two days ago we lost 24 young soldiers in a heavy attack by kurdish terrorists to 5 different army outpost/bases along border of northern Iraq.We lost more than 130 soldiers and 50 civillians in 6 months in here and last event was extremely upset to all Turkey. As you know (if you following interational news) Turkish Army began an operation to track them(terrorists)by surface and air. Last two days are very emotional and sad days for us with funeral ceremonies of martyrs. Air Traffic controllers wanted to show their respect and action against terrorism and our lost. And they made "1 minute" respect silence in whole Turkish airspace with fully silence on communication except emergency situations. In this video, air traffic controllers says that; - "we are invating to all Turkish pilots for 1 minutes silence in communication for 24 martyrs lost in traitorous attack yesterday.During this action we will only response to urgent calls, thank you for your cooperation" after 1 minutes calling Turkish pilot says that; "we all pilots would like to thanks for your kind and emotional invitation. well don't expect too much things!!! "PanAm" just only familiar about PanAm (pan american airways) brand name and series focus is only social life of PanAm's flight attendants! if you are expecting sessional planes, events ,flights etc you will not get thats. Main subject is "how you became a PanAm flight attentand,love life,how to get rich passangers, handsome pilots for getting marriage etc..." relation with 1960s life styles. Generally, series looks like them MAD MAN theme. The same subjects (relations,emotions,intrique.....)

honestly, I don't think so this is an "ergonomic" design. If you look down (neck angle to down) in whole fight, it woıld be cause of heavy neck pain or neck problems after flight. In normaly , head level (where head backs of seats)screens much better for neck position ehile you are get back on your seat. Be carefull about while working. If you are working on laptops in a normal height work table, you will get neck pain laters on work hours around to evenigns. If you are working with monitor which is a bit away from your body and if it could be a bit heigher than table surface (minimum neck angle and eye-line direction) it would be better for your neck healthy.The same as on airplane seats. While you are get back rest on your seats, your eye-line direction and neck angle are minimum angle to headback secreens. I'm not sure, traytable-lookslike laptops screen would be comfortable in long flights. We will see feedbacks after a few years by passangers comments.

I watched on live stream via internet at the afternoon today. Stream was extremely quality, I missed SoloTurk unfortunately! While I was watching, I saw TurkishStars's C160 supply plane but Turkish Stars were not in team program. I think it came for support for Soloturk.

It means, all damaged are visible from first 10 row of cabin. I'm sure passangers could report to cabin crew about how much damaged on engines covers and then pilots should make visible check about damaged value as pilot's point of view. I'm curious too, what was procedure about to get desicion continue flight to Dubai. (I don't know anything about procedures or company regulations about in this cases)

Exactly true, all nations prefer their own national brands as emotionally. They should be find a proper way make a survey if they have nomination to global airways.

as far as I know, Typhoon is noot like much in RAF pilots. I don't remember where I read or wathced but RAF pilots says that " eurofighter is not easy tu use plane and not much effective" . Honestly, EADS is pushing to use in common country airforces for getting back billion euros investment budget, thats all. The same as RAFALE! both plane are not "new" airplanes and never proof to capability against competitor fighters. JAS39 Grippen also not much selling outside of Sweden also not proof to capability either! F16 never be into competition even they are rebuilt over rebuilt as namle "blocks"!!! F16 basic design is "aged" anymore, whatever you changed avionics or weapon systems, F16 is F16 ...single fighters! I'm sure tropical regions is not safe for single engine aircraft with high humidty and temperature. In my opinion, there are two choises seems like to best choises for RMAF. I don't know in fact are they satisfy to use F18 and Russian planes but if they had already all background suitable for F18 and Russian support, they should be continue the same way. You have already trained pilots and ground staff in both planes. You don't need to make investment about retraining in all facilities.BEsides, warfare codes is the main problem. We are living several problems with USA about F16 warfare codes in the past also now the same story in F35 JSF program. First problem was FLIR system for night flight in the past. USA and General Dynamics did won't to give weapon and system codes to Turkey. After that last year the same argumenst lived on JSF F35.Turkey has own missiles can be suitable on all fighters and we would like to assign own national codes. USA goverment refused to give codes or change codes proccesing , nothing solved right now and probably we will get "empty tin planes" on JFS program without computer codes! what a great deal!!!! Thatswhy RMAF must be carefull about warfare codes. I think Russians would be much helpfull about deveopment and assignment of if able Malaysian own warfare softwares.

I believe Turkish Airlines can be rise up at least 2 or 3 steps but I'm not sure beyond.It is very nice to see THY in top 10 and taken a few award. They said that themselves "we are 4.5star airlines but we are working hardly to get 5 stars". I'm sure they get but it won't be easy.

Not bad but not perfect, a bit longer than usual safety videos (it is 5.30mins) but productions quality is going to be better day by day.I think Turkish Airlines changed presentation company or working with a few advertising agencies.As far as I remember this is 4th work with a "theme" includes famous persons and second work with Manchester United team. For KUL flight; In early 90s THY was flying to KUL with A310 but then cheased this route and began to fly only Singapore.I don't think so Turkish Airlines flies to Kualalumpur becouse of (we had talk another topic before) Malaysia Airlines is really great in this route and flies with almost fully. Turkish Airlines prefer to join "code share" rather than competition with Malaysia Airlines. Last year there was a rumour about "Turkish Airlines would be use KUL for Jakarta flight as stopover" but choosed Singapore for that flight. According by slots and possibility of Singapore Changi airports, maybe Turkish Airlines can be prefer to Kualalumpur for new Australia routes becouse of they need a stopover if B777-300ER can't fly direct.(I think not safe about range ).Just a guess,thats all.
