  1. Dont think its AAX fault if they choose to fly to a country which require visa (or any other other airlines for that matter).. At least we have another option to fly to JED(non-stop). SV/MH and now D7 competition among them sure will benefit us the customer. Im not complaining about it
  2. Wow... String of problems. These are the things to consider if you are really excited of becoming the first/launching customers and etc. 😬 Hope the upcoming A350 will not have the same problems with 787.
  3. a friend of mine booked during lunch hour... KUL-DPS return tix around RM170. not sure about the timing tho
  4. For me im hoping 2013 will bring me to either Sao Paolo or Rio De Janeiro... Hopefully i get lucky and bumped with cheap ticket
  5. For me if the KLIA2 can be open ahead of Brandenburg Airport thats a major accomplishment already....
  6. Interesting.. they are indeed have plan to increase on KUL to London. Is it LHR or maybe Gatwick next?? Read more: http://www.btimes.com.my/Current_News/BTIMES/articles/ASTIK/Article/index_html
  7. Berlin is the hotspot for tourism in Germany right now, you can see alot of asian ppls flocking berlin nowadays. FRA is a financial hub but no way a tourist hotspot. Not much things to visit. FRA disadvantage is the curfew and besides everyone fly to FRA. If MH fly to BER, they shld take advantage and codeshare with AB for cities like Munich/ Hamburg/ dusseldorf etc. and even maybe to cities in russia.
  8. My take will be MAD,BER and HEL for europe(and codeshare with the oneworld partner) and yes Moscow as well. There are more Russian coming to these part of the world thesedays. Not to forget multiple connection flight and venture to secondary/tertiary cities in ASEAN, more China and Indian cities as well.
  9. Will CRJ/ERJ be allowed to use at SZB? To order ATR will be a wise choose i believe.
  10. Thxs.. It will be interesting to see what type of a/c they will send to KUL. Will it be 777 or A330? My bet will be the A330
  11. wow.. even back then there are lots of MH liveries
  12. They are complaining about the leaked photo but doing nothing for the whole thread for their rubbish website?? something is not right
  13. Think MH will only start thinking bout premium economy once SQ start to plan for it as well.
  14. Correct me if im wrong..., but with 6100nm its enough for MH to do KUL- MAD/BER/DME/HEL and even if they start thinking of NRT-JFK sector. There is no point of having aircraft with longer range unless you can optimise and use the extra miles
  15. ^^ or maybe thats part of SIA clause in their contract.. sound something like this "If you want me to buy more of your engine you need to built a factory in SIN"
  16. Airbus to raise A330 take-off weight and fuel capacity Airbus is further hiking the maximum take-off weight of the A330, raising it to 242t, and will offer a higher fuel capacity option for the larger A330-300 variant. The airframer had previously disclosed plans to increase the twinjet's take-off weight to 240t. Airbus's latest enhancements will extend the range of the A330-300 by 500nm (930km) over the 235t model, and by 350nm for the 238t A330-200 at full passenger load. It will give operators of the -300 the option of activating the centre wing fuel tank, a standard feature on the longer-range -200 but one which has remained unused on the larger aircraft. This will increase the -300's fuel capacity from 97,500 litres to more than 139,000 litres. The modification will include tank inerting. Airbus hopes the improvements will extend the A330-300's range to 6,100nm by 2015, enabling it to perform westbound flights from south-east Asia to Europe. http://www.flightglobal.com/news/articles/airbus-to-raise-a330-take-off-weight-and-fuel-capacity-379583/ So will MH buy this one and retired their 777??
  17. yeah... a friend of mine from the Philippine said the same thing about KFC taste differently in his country and malaysia.... He said the chicken here taste better and sweet...
  18. ANA targets stakes in Asian airlines Kyodo All Nippon Airways Co. plans to take stakes in other Asian carriers to expand its network in the region, President Shinichiro Ito said. After resuming flights to Myanmar in October, Ito said the airline will seek to boost services linking Vietnam, India and Malaysia. http://www.japantime...20121126a2.html
  19. so currently MNA/MNB/MNC doing the double daily to LHR.. how about MND? she's not even in her full sticker yet.
  20. Upon checking with skyscanner ex-KUL Jetsstar is the cheapest, u can get below RM6000 with a short stopover in SIN. While ex-SIN Etihad is the man with RM4600 a stop in BNE.
  21. with the back-up of petro-dollar it is highly unlikely they will end up biting the dust.
  22. Totally agree with this.. the priority for A380 should be to EU and Australia. This will help to feed MH asian sectors. I think its a good move to send their A380 to CDG. MH definately need to order more A380 for destination like SYD/MEL/NRT. Btw, Its kinda of weird for MH not to fly daily to FRA.. i mean the business between Germany and Malaysia is big.. if im not mistaken even bigger than with France. If the curfew thingy one of the reason than they shld thinking to start fly to BER then codeshare with Air Berlin for the rest destination in Germany. It will be more awesome if they fly A380 to BER
  23. Air France expects 85% load factor on KL-Paris flight Posted on 8 November 2012 - 05:39am Eva Yeong sunbiz@thesundaily.com Air France to start flights to Kuala Lumpur on April 22 next year.
