Not an Airasia pilot but i believe they have stationed technicians in Langkawi now. They are the ones who does the walkaround and signed the tech log.

Moving back to MTB, i have a mixed feeling about this. I'm enjoying the new concept of having shopping mall inside a terminal. There are so many shops and Jaya Grocer has been my favourite after work shoping for necessitities. KLIA2 is good except for long walk and stupid immigration counters. MTB got none and its rotting unless they started doing something about it

Out of range maybe. Lahore is just few more miles from Amritsar. We were literally flying near the barb wire fence that separates Pakistan and India.

My experience with MH from LHR, last June, we were made to wait more than an hour before our baggage appears. Morning around 8:30 will be peak hours with arrival from Istanbul and Australian cities. Really pissed us all off. My friend almost missed her connecting flight to JHB because of this. Was on EK in December. The wait was not as long as the previous experience but it's still at least 30 minutes from the moment i disembark to the baggage conveyor. And i was made to wait another 15 minutes. Dont know what went wrong. They should really think about adding more manpower to help with unloading of baggages since EK gonna upgrade to bigger aircraft next month

Indonesians going for umroh generally booked their package through travel agents. The agents will work out which airline/routing suits best for their group of travellers. Yes, they do have flights out of Indonesia to Jeddah, even Citilink is operating Jeddah flight with tech stop at Medan and Mumbai before continuing to Jeddah. But the market is big enough for AirAsia, and even Malindo and MAS. Demand is huge, if they take the leftover they can still work it out. Nowadays i see a lot of Indonesian umroh pilgrim transiting in KUL. Some group even spent 1 or 2 nights here before continuing their journey.

Was on the holding point at PEN when i realised the red cap on final was indeed a A330. Now i wonder, how does domestic pax board the plane as K, J and odd number gates of P,Q are inaccessible to widebodies? I never saw widebody aircraft on K22
