I was taking a domestic flight on the 15 Aug and KLIA are using body scanners now at the domestic security.

I believe for flights to Bangkok you get this. For flights to Yangon you get the standard meal box.

Ive checked with the flight attendants yesterday from KUL SIN KUL sector and so far they serve everyone snacks and drinks. No discrimination.

Took a flight from KUL to Medan today and talked to the air stewardess and they are not even sure about it. So far they are serving meals, snacks and drinks to everyone.

A question here, I know the business class and business suites has a USB port to charge your phone. How about the economy seats? Do the economy seats have USB ports for charging? Like the A330 and the B738.

On a 737 is very uncomfortable especially with the seat pitch on MAS 737. In addition on a full flight, the queue for the toilets.

I will be in Brisbane and Sydney again this October and will check if I can use the Qantas Lounge on Business Class on Malaysia Airlines Last time on Brisbane I was denied entry into the Qantas Lounge at Brisbane with the Business Class Boarding pass. Only allowed in because of my One World Sapphire benefits.

Thanks for the information. This is just what I need to know. Good to know that you can enjoy the benefits of Enrich Gold although you chose to use your Qantas FF for the flight.

If you are on a one world flight, say you are on a Qantas flight and you are not able to get any Elite Points to your Enrich due to the class of travel. However if you use the Qantas FF you get points. So if you then nominate QFF for the flight, can you still use your Enrich Gold card to get lounge access, priority boarding etc?

MH88 to Tokyo on A380 on 28 Aug 2018 had been retimed. Apparently technical fault. Anyone got any news?

Anyone knows which lounge is Malaysia Airlines using for Business Class at Sydney Airport? Is the lounge Qantas?

Your J Pass shows you are One World Sapphire or Emerald member? My experience In the Qantas Lounge is similar. They told me Im allowed entry because Im sapphire as shown on my Business Class pass.

Are you a One World Sapphire or Emerald Member? If you are, you can use the lounge I guess.

Same here. The staff at the Qantas Lounge did state about Malaysia Airlines not having a contract with them. They will only honour One World status holders.

I had checked with Qantas at Brisbane Airport and they told me that Malaysia Airlines is contracted to Plaza Premium Lounge and not Qantas. They will only allow access if you have a One World Saplhire or Emerald status. If you are on Business Class without One World Status, you will be denied entry.

Just want to check if you are flying Business Class in Malaysia Airlines from Brisbane to KUL can we use the Qantas Lounge? From the boarding pass, it had stated that I was invited to the Plaza Premium Lounge. Anyway I tried to use the Qantas Lounge and was told by the person that we cannot use the lounge if we fly Business Class. Only if you are a One World Status Member you can use the lounge. Anyone has experienced this?

I know. Actually called 2 times regarding my Enrich redemption. However both times they ask me to send the docs before they can proceed with the redemption. FYI, I got the Fiji call centre and also the local call centre attending to me. Both times the call centre operator informs the requirements are needed as to prevent any unauthorised used of my Enrich points. So finally complied to the requirements for Enrich redemption for 3rd party.

I had the same problem too. Did my redemption last week. Noticed that this problem occurs when you are trying to make redemption for someone else. Surprisingly had no problems when I made redemption for myself. Finally had no choice but to redeem via call centre for my wife. Then I had to write a letter of authorisation to authorised the redemption for my wife, also scan copy of my Enrich Card, front and back and my passport. Only after emailing them these documents can they proceed with the redemption via the call centre. This is so inconvenient.

Fasting at night? Its a night flight. And departing at 10.50 pm and arriving KLIA around 4.30 am. So dont think thats the case.

My son took the flight on the 21 May 2018. Only served dinner after takeoff. After that nothing. He was totally shocked with the meals being cut and also the cabin crew was absent throughout the duration of he flight. He had to call them for a drink. Service was just bad. No problems with the morning flight though.

Just to check with those who had flown economy on Tokyo to KL sector on MAS on the night flight and arriving KUL in the early morning. For the meals, you are only served one meal after take off. After that nothing. Is this the sign of MH Cost cutting? Normally there would be a light snack just before landing?

I was there at peak period at 4pm yesterday

I was at the KLIA today to catch my flight. Only one Aerotrain was working. They had buses to ferry people from main terminal to the satellite terminal.
