...as long as your flight does not arrive after a wave of A380/77Ws...

But MH prices are not on par with other oneworld members Sure, I love the Pier/QF First SYD/Al-Mourjan, but considering how affordable MH fares are (especially in J), I think the current offerings are decent enough.

The old 867/866s 2hr turnaround made it easier

Nonsense. That is an Airbus ATR500ER with Boeing Sky Interior.

AirAsia seeks over RM400m in counter-claim against MAHB

The unfortunate fact is that RM74 hurts Malaysian travellers a lot more than SGD47.80 does to your average Singaporean traveller. All those sunflowers and butterflies don't come cheap. It's a chicken-and-egg situation. Raise the PSC and you'll draw the ire of the Malaysian public, Tony Fernandes, and those who want everything to be like SIN/SQ but do not want to pay SG prices; keep the PSC at a low level and you'll get the walkways being turned into bazaars and second-rate shopping malls rather than Jewels with the world's largest indoor waterfall.. -
Yeah, AA isnt doing too well in the China market. They also dropped ORD-PVG and ORD-PEK some time back.

KUL-BKI-NRT was dropped when BKI-HND came along I believe

MAB Orders 10 Boeing 737 MAX 10 with Lie-Flat Business Class Seats

But how would the MW community feel about narrowbodies on >4 hour flights? I don't quite understand the obsession with trying to put up a fight with SQ. It's clear that MH isn't in the same league its sibling to the south. This is a fact that many MWers consistently bring up when trying to put MH back in its place after it tries something SQ-esque. Paradoxically, it's also the source of much disappointment and fantasy when MH doesn't do something SQ-esque. -
KL International Airport exceeds service quality targets

When the dom-intl immigration is busy, I find it faster to head airside and go upstairs to international departures. Especially for Malaysian passport holders as the main departure immigration hall has autogates. -
KL International Airport exceeds service quality targets
Chris Tan replied to flee's topic in General Aviation
It might be standard at crappy airports but that does not make it acceptable IMHO. Not when KLIA (and the country as a whole) has greater aspirations. -
Or maybe Malaysian and South Korean carriers operate under different circumstances. What works for one carrier doesn't necessarily work for the other. Why do MH/D7 have up to 5 daily KUL-ICN flights collectively while KE manages only 1, and OZ none at all?

Perhaps an overpriced rickety aerotrain connecting the Satellite with MTB2 would make more sense? Or would that further inflate the construction cost? -
KL International Airport exceeds service quality targets

No aerobridge: MAHB gets bashed for giving in to Tonys penny pinching, no better than LCCT, cannot compete with DMK/SIN, hate walking under the sun and rain, etc. With aerobridge: T2 is too expensive -

To paraphrase one of the experienced members here: pax may be loyal to airport but airport may not be loyal to pax -

That's when they're not busy chatting the day away or letting everyone through the metal detectors without a second look. -

Funny how they forgot to include immigration and baggage reclaim wait times on their list. -
Malaysia Airports claiming RM36 mil in unpaid fees from AirAsia

This credit card fee would lead to the collapse of the Malaysian aviation industry. -

Hashtag Bantah PSC! -
There's only so much that low airport taxes can accomplish. We can set our PSC at RM1 but that won't make the Malaysian market more attractive than Thailand's.

There's nothing game changing about returning to the days of same-plane single-aisle service to Europe via the Middle East. And is D7 a high-yield luxury carrier or a bargain basement LCC? What are the odds of D7 adopting a J hard product that's even more premium than, say, AA's 32B? Plus a Y seat pitch that's even more generous than FSCs?

MAB Rebranding First Class to "Business Suite"
Chris Tan replied to Mohd Azizul Ramli's topic in General Aviation
Not quite. QSuite is just a very good J product, not a different class in itself.
