  1. Yup conditions today was very bad in Cyberjaya today. All outdoor activites was cancelled but that did not stop the " indoor " activities.haha Anyway as Radzi said....time to take leave from Spotting unless you are willing to wear masks...but then again, the picture quality would not be that good. So give the cameras a good rest guys. Emperor to slow down..??? try Nicotine Replacement terapy for a while
  2. I have flown many times...but have not visitied the cockpit . Once when i was small , about 8 years old , i opened my seatbelts and walked to the nearest Flight Stewerdess Me : Excuse me auntie , can i go into the cockpit ??? The FS then bursed out laughing along with some passengers who heard me asking. then she replied FS : (Laughing) I am sorry boy , but you have to ask the permission of the Captain. Me : OK....can i ask him permission to go into the cockpit ?? FS : ( Still Laughing ) He is very busy ...darling Me : ( In innocent voice ) Then if he is busy , can i help ? FS : ( Laughing ) No...he does not need help. I take you back to your Seat. Me : ok then . So she showed me back to my seat And that was the first and the last time i asked permission to go into the cockpit. BY the way that flight was from KL to JB on the B737. If i was not mistaken the Captain name was Captain Othman..??
  3. Er capt, Why do they allocate 2 for the 737. Is it because they have too many flights a day with 39 aircrafts..??
  4. i think its about time for DCA to conduct a full check on Hornbill Skyways just to make sure ALL their aircraft air safe and to make sure their pilots are well trained to fly the planes.
  5. What Gavin, Capt Radzi, and the rest said is true in life there is no such thing as short cut. In everything that we want to achieve, we need to work hard for it. For example to be a pilot is not easy. You have to pass all the tests such as the Psychomotor , Psychometric and also the interview. Once you have done with these 3, you will then undergo the Medical Checkup. Failure in any of these stages will not enable you to be a pilot. And once you have made it to be a cadet, its hard work for the next 14 months. And they say that Ground School is a killer with Class tests almost every week. You have to study your a$$ of if you want to pass and the passing rate is not 50 but 75. And after that, if you have passed you will then undergo line training. And thats a killer. The instructors will expect you to know everything, if not Die la..kena scolding for this and that. You have a lot to learn, a lot to memorise. That is why the Simulator is known as the Torture Chamber I have seen this saying before in a website, During your training as a pilot, your sex life is actually gonna improve because most of the time you willl get fu**ed of course by the instructors. And once you are done with your line training, congratulations you are a PILOT. BUt wait , there are the compulsary Base checks , and Medical you need to pass twice a year. Failure to do so, you can kiss your wings goodbye. Anyway, my intention is not to scare you to be a pilot, nothing is easy in life. Work hard and you will reap the profits later.
  6. Yup they served us well. Been on it many times . Maybe we all Malaysian wings members can pool all our resources and wealth and buy all those workhorses and open up a new LCC..... calling it Air Wings or something ..haha.. who knows..?? Azahan can be next next T. Fernandes and Radzi can be the Chief Pilot. And maybe there will be a direct flight's to Dubai and our region manager from Dubai, Mr Imran K. can welcome all the pax. Not forgetting Pieter can Be our Fleet PLanner, TK can say check instead of reading the checklist on the fleet....what else.???? Chief stewerd Gavin.???? Engineer Fendy..???
  7. i too just love the baby Boeing..... those who fly it claims that is is like driving a sports car..... is it true.????
  8. The intake is year long. I did hear of 10 intakes per year that is shared between MAS and LATC ( Correct me if i am wrong ). And also this massive recruitment drive is until 2007 or until their quota of pilots is achieved.
  9. Hi guys i cant log in Aeromalaysia.....any ideas why..???
  10. Yes you may reapply. There are people who have done the test about 3-4 times. This is for MAS. For SIA, if you failed the premilinary rounds, you may reapply. But if you fail their final round, you may have to look at other airlines for cadetship.
  11. yup ...they will check those. And also be prepared for the psychomotor and psychometric test.
  12. hi there........to register, you have to write a application letter and submit it with a CV. It is better if you apply after you get your results. About the glasses issue , there are many pilots with glasses. I did hear that there are MAS cadets with power up to 500, but as long it is correctible it is ok. SIA cadets have a limitation up to 500. So take care of your eyes. hehe
  13. ok sure...... . I respect both of them..as they contribute a lot to the aviation society
  14. Feel like doing it for one last time. I am sure the moderators will get fits if i post again..hahaha. Or they might just close down AeroM. as wise man say.....safe the best for the last !!!
  15. Wah...Fendy...you read their TOC very well... i am quite sure they dont know about it also..haha. Thinking about it.....should i create the topic again...then put a notice below which goes like this Dear moderators, I did not follow Paragraph C.2. So kindly remove my thread for the 3rd time.
  16. OK...here goes Hey guys , there is a new aviation forum....http://malaysianwings.com/. Check it out..... @ To Moderators, The last time i posted this topic, the whole thread was removed as i had violated AeroMalaysia Conditions of Use Paragraph B.19. Being a member, YES i had agreed to the rules stipulated in the Conditions of Use by posting in this forum. I think you guys are the ones that should go and read the conditions of use. The conditions states : You agree that you will not originate any message or material on the forums containing advertisements for, or links to businesses and other for-profit organizations, and their websites, products or services As far as i know , MalaysianWings is a non- profit website done by aviation lovers. They do it for the fun of it and they are not getting a single sen out of it. And also, we have posted many links before in this forum. Some of them are from commercial entities' websites such as Airbus and Boeing. Why were those links allowed..???? and mine deleted.I am sure permission was not asked from the moderator. Doesn it CLEARLY show that favouritism and double standards are being used.??? Or is it a case that the moderator does not understand his own CONDITIONS ??
