  1. If i had a guest at home and he dirties my sofa, he'll get it..bwahaha If i had a guest coming to my house and she complains about my food, i'll think she's ungrateful. Unless if she's involved in the cost $-$ If i had a guest at home i hope i don't have to hand out small pamphlets on how to escape in case of fire
  2. Airlines work at many times as much as similar to a country or a country. Agents, ground handlers, flight crews, ticketing, planners etc. 1. U can't totally blame a person for another person's fault, but to blame@critique an airlines for it's staff incompetence is reasonable. 2. Sometimes an airline manage to serve you better on the front desk rather than in flight, vice versa. 3. I hope a face to face discussion will be able to resolve this issue. btw all my views are personal, none of above reflected anything but my personal view "susu setitik rosak nila sebelanga"
  3. At first you will have to file a flt plan. All the details like time,a/c reg and type are there, total pax might change, so pax will be confirmed before you taxi. Then, for landing..A clearance will be issued to you either VFR or IFR, vfr-circuit or base or join downwind Ifr-approach clearance like ILS,VOR-DME etc Direction of landing depends on the reported wind. For 737 we may accept up to 15 kts tail. Head is preferable.

  10. Once the problem was brought to the attention of the MAS cabin crew, they should have shifted the difficult passenger - it does not matter if he was Malaysian or a foreigner. Not shift the poor woman. She was right in raising the suggestion that she should have been moved to Business Class out of the view of the man and a potential threat. MAS would have scored more Brownie points for this little act of good public relations. For the poor woman to travel with this obnoxious man must have been a traumatic experience, and MAS has not answered the queries raised by the woman. Knowing that the man must be highly-strung because of his unpleasant experience of being turned back by Pakistan immigration, MAS should have been more alert to the difficulty he would pose, as, in fact, was borne out by what subsequently happened when he was on the plane. From the woman's account, the man had exhibited criminal intimidation as he had raised his fist and verbally abused a fellow passenger. That would be sufficient for him to be arrested and charged. Some airlines would have arranged for the police to arrest the man upon arrival. But obviously, MAS is not one of those airlines. Another culpable offence is drunkenness and loutish behaviour by passengers. I once travelled on a flight from Australia to Kuala Lumpur and throughout the flight, a drunken group of Australians created a nuisance. Hollering and laughing throughout the flight, they disturbed the peace of other passengers but the MAS crew did nothing - not even a word to them to lower their voices. Upon arrival at KLIA, a passenger exchanged a few words with one of the rowdy Australians who was jumping onto the luggage conveyor belt but he ended up with a bloodied nose for his civic duty. A more responsible airline crew leader would have ensured the drunken Australians did not create any potential trouble on board under the influence of alcohol. My opinion is that MAS has not properly trained its crew to manage difficult situations, especially in dealing with aggressive passengers. I am disappointed that as the country's national airline it is not more careful when serving alcohol especially when it is obvious the passengers are drunk. A responsible response would be to stop serving any more alcoholic drinks to any obviously drunken passenger. In the above letter, I don't see any apology from John Low, the Customer Response Manager, to the traumatised woman, or any explanation as to why MAS did not answer or return her calls. Nor did he answer any of her questions for the public's benefit. And should not MAS require its crew to report any untoward incident occurring during a flight? Should they not then follow up with any aggrieved passenger? Is the tidak apa attitude part of the ethos of MAS? I wonder what would have happened if the victim had not written her letter of complaint in the first place. Come on MAS, you can do better. http://www.malaysiakini.com/letters/97071 IMHO. Enuff said, Let's just do it better

  15. bro hakan..imho the big picture is like this.. i think the world is round because its a sign of everything will in cycles but different axis. at times when we thought cost of living will be cheaper, better for us, it increase. forcing us to catch up with it again. we thought we can afford the air tikets easily, it turns out to be a bit out of budget. so the only good thing after this is what goes up will come down..believe me.
  16. God.. what a waste.. but thats how they earn their repo.
  17. actually its quite easy to 'seludup' smuggle things into the Gate. Normally the body search can be beat, in order to seludup a small knife or scissors. but if hi jackers have knive, pilot have AXe unless they took hostage *kidding* bla bla bla...what i'm trying to say is any where in the world, the body search can be beat, that's why the use of baton metal detector is more efficient. not the 'Pintu gerbang metal detector' C.Radzi.. mebe if we buy a piece of land, near the "spotting place" and make it a spotting area with security from MAHB and get money back by making that place as a tourist spot...open a few stalls and collect rent from them.. spotting, free.. (legalize spotting) idea from late LGT of genting
