It is sad to see one of the best wide body aircraft B777-200 to be phased out without any replace from newer version of it's kind. Same goes to B747-400. They can get the B747-800i to replace the old B747-400 without extra costs for their pilots rating coz I believe it's not much different from the old version. If they change from Boeing to Airbus, this will incur extra costs for flight crew type rating. Plus Boeing aircrafts are proven fuel effiecient.

There's a big possibility it's microburst. It's an old plane so there's no technology to detect microburst onboard and I dont think Islamabad Airport have that technology either.

Tried booking online on Malaysia Airlines and found out that aircraft for the 1125(MH2591) and 1610(MH2593) to KUL. And for KUL-MYY it's 0830(MH2592) and 1315(MH2594). Any Miri spotters around?

What if Firefly operate the ATR 72-500 that it has in possesion? And the FY B738 reconfigure into Premium FSC for Sapphire operation. Anyway what is this sapphire operation based on? Full fledge airline or LCC? and is it for domestic or international?
