  1. ...and one of them wasn't exactly stellar... Someone needs to remind the crew the first two rules with F-class pax: 1. You do not pester your F-class pax 2. You DO NOT pester your F-class pax And also of note both of the TRs also highlighted the underperforming IFE contents in terms of offerings. They need to beef up on that too.
  2. Ancillary income perhaps? TG hands out the (admittedly crappy) headphones so they probably cost not more than RM1 each to make.
  3. Probably until the agreement expires. MH and VS FFP agreement probably will likewise be ended sometime in the future but as now seems you can use your Enrich with both BA and VS.
  4. But the starboard engine seems to be there - you wouldn't do just one side and do nothing on the other side would you? On serious note any ideas on the impending fate of this frame?
  5. Not just the port engine, the nose cone appears to be missing as well. They aren't scrapping MRK are they?
  6. MRA all the way through MRQ so 17. Now that 333s have replaced most 772s AUS and NEA routes they don't need as many of those 772s.
  7. Looks like it's end of the line for the captain's career...
  8. Also unbanned are some sports sticks, such as pool cues and hockey sticks edition.cnn.com/2013/03/05/travel/tsa-carry-on-changes/index.html Meanwhile no words on the lifting of bans on your bottle of Coke you bought outside airside...
  9. Doesn't look like it'll pass crash test to me...
  10. The small size is standard per OW - cf. JAL's. What I am more curious is the fact that none of the other MH a/c bear the logo.
  11. Posting something like this online is a guaranteed way of finding yourself fired from your employment, so she asked for it and now bears the consequence. Slightly OT: of all the stock images of SU they could use they used the short-lived livery version from two decades ago??
  12. AK marketing team sure knows how to troll
  13. If it's put on sale on an auction site, regardless of its status (active, disposed or otherwise), you still need to wonder how he got hold of the jacket in the first place. Inside job perhaps?
  14. Removal of life jacket=tampering aircraft safety equipment=CRIME Please file a report here so they have a chance to take actions.
  15. Maybe OW should try to grab AM in instead. Admittedly it's highly improbable though considering they are one of the original four of ST...
  16. But some weird reasons Mexicana is still on OW's site...
  17. Perhaps because orchid can last longer (~2 weeks) while hibiscus withers within a day?
  18. Another JAL 787 incident at Boston, this time fuel leak. From http://boston.cbslocal.com/2013/01/08/japan-airlines-jet-leaks-fuel-at-logan-airport/
  19. That'd be a shame, since this a/c was barely a month old into service...
  20. It's all about timings when it comes to air tickets - during upcoming CNY AK was the cheapest for KUL-KBR vv at around RM280. I managed to get FY for total of RM138 during end March to early April while they had sales. I always make comparisons when making airfare bookings and as you've mentioned AK is not always the cheapest, especially once you factor in luggage et al (FY gives you 20kg).
  21. Whatever happened to their plan to start KBR service? Is it still on?
  22. They may not have the know-how and/or equipment to do so. Or it's simply more cost effective to have others do it. While we are at it old 747s used to have depleted uranium; not sure if that is still the case but it may also need special handling.
  23. Where is Samuel L Jackson when you need him?
  24. I like how leaner this demo video than the previous one, although yet again they have omitted BM from the video...
