Let's hope IDRIS JALA does something about this alliance thing and aircraft renewal soon, or MH may be left out far behind than it already is !!!

Just to add a few more, Royal Nepal Air India Emirates Myanma besides the others who operate the KUL-SIN / SIN-KUL route. I think the possibility of other LCC's coming into KLIA would be NOK AIR, PHUKET AIR (if its a LCC) and perhaps CEBU PACIFIC to name a few. It is very unlikely to see JQ and TIGER in KLIA if they are flying in from SIN. Unless they start new routes from KLIA, making it their base....

Sing Yew, Yes it is supposed to be a one stop via BKK. There was a report that they may use a B742 also besides the B763.

If I am not mistaken, today will be the inaugral flight from DME and BKK for Transaero Airlines of Russia. IT is scheduled to arrive at 1600hours at KLIA.

It is always possible !!!! But they will need to make the ARN-EWR flights daily first and have high yields on the flights first, right ? Also, LAX has to go daily and high yield' too!!!!!!! But why MIAMI ?

Does anyone know whats happening with the alliance news for MH and the aircraft purchase which keeps being deferred constantly ? The last we all heard about MH's alliance news was when rumour had it that AF and MH were having some "issues". The aircraft issues were postponed to end of this year but it has been postponed from April 2004 till now.

I just applied for my Leave for the 10th and I am wondering if it is going to be worthwhile; do any of you think the security will be stricter on that day; if we can go to the Weather Centre or the expected location for spotting this beast ?

Maybe the pilot kena marah(got some scolding) from the co-pilot for some mistake, so he kelam-kabut (messed up) after that and that resulted in the weird taxi......ok that was meant to be a silly joke......but does this happen a lot ? Is it because the navigation system is out ?

DXB-KUL-PER ? Healthy competition is good, but if EK is going to be a threat to MH ? I think JQ, QF or AO should consider starting KUL from one of their OZ cities !!!!

Sing Yew, I thought about you when I read this article; since you are in ADL !!!!!! EK using A380 to KUL ? YEs it was from the Routes 2005 press release.

The KLIA website is quite pathetic compared to our counterpart Changi. Its more a wasted decoration piece than an informative centre.

Although Unique its its own way, I doubt this would attract spotters that much!!!! HELLO KITTY will probably have its own group of fans.....!!!!! But interesting !!!!

Out of topic: I read in The Star today that EK was increasing their flights into KUL and was hvaing direct flights instead of flying via DAC or onward to CGK. However, whats more exciting to hear is what I read on this thread below : http://www.airliners.net/discussions/gener...d.main/2393767/
