So what would be a better alternative OW FFP for those Msia-based travellers considering to exit Enrich? CX? JL? UL?

Any idea what sort of baby we will end up with? How can the program be called "Enrich" anymore?

There will still be procurement and holding of stock, at the very least - as long as F cabin is offered. A myriad of things like training, product differentiation from J bla bla bla. Even if a flight leaves with no F pax, because the next one may have one F pax and so on. Good though for non F flying elite pax who could piggy back ride on the F infrastructure.

I didnt realise such status pax could just plonk their bums into an F seat whenever the F cabin is empty. But seriously, I wasnt thinking about fixtures and immovables like lounges and counters. But rather provisions that need to be allocated or available as long as an F cabin is offered. Such as catering stuff, other consumables used exclusively for F pax.

If you market a product as First, there will be costs associated with providing that product - even if there are no F pax on some F-cabin-equipped flights. It is too simplistic to suggest that no F pax, so no F costs.

Nobody called it MASB which was the previous legal name. There is no reason to now call it MAB. And the operating entity in both cases still trade under the name Malaysia Airlines. So, one should have just stuck to MAS.

Like Bellew has said, nothing. Some folks will just enjoy having extra legroom. Apart from that, nothing extra-ordinary with the rows 9 & 10 seats.

Maybe what you need is just some tiny stickers - depending on whether you have a craving for sushi, tom yam, etc ...

Errr...you do realise SBW is hardly the centre of the universe to be prepped up for all eventualities...and stuff do cost more than a dime. BWN - a far bigger airport was paralysed for much more when a similar incident happened with that wayward AK plane... But I agree with the general view that if MH could be less cost conscious and deploy all four slides, it would have received accolades from pax having a much more fun time sliding down the rear slides at a steeper gradient...and the grounds must be soft anyway with all the torrential downpour, so the pax would not feel anything more than a teeny weeny pin prick when they eventually land off the end of the slide...

Thats same day return? So just buy two one ways then in different directions. Only true if oneway auto prices you to full flexi. Not applicable for MH in many instances.

Obvious to not earn Elite miles or sectors if ticketed as EK. As for your situation, you should be able to accrue the miles in Enrich. You probably got an ignorant person responding to your query. I would write again or call to get the credits. Worth pointing out that on Enrich's website, it is clearly shown EK as one of the airline partners and that one can accrue Enrich miles by crediting EK flights.

Well, even you as our photographer did have all weather capability as well!! Haha

That is obvious - you cant credit those into Enrich to earn elite miles/tiers. I know MH5xxx flights operated by any carrier (OW or non-OW) can be credited into Enrich and do earn Elite miles/ tiers. But it is unclear if MH4xxx operated by EK are accepted for earning Elite miles/tiers though they do earn normal miles on Enrich.

Does one earn Enrich elite miles and elite sector if flying on MH4xxx flights operated by EK? Anybody actually received these?
