  2. would it be possible to spot from the terminal, Nick? is there any nice place to spot a/c from inside the terminal building itself?
  3. Quack Quack aaah, these two...
  4. yesterday weather was good but didn't expect this to happen... it was open for landing and departure for half an hour (2.35 - 3.05pm).. then it was back to normal.... it was -SKB for today...
  5. some more shots from this morning session.... Saudia came with a T7... and afternoon session. Red Cyclist for Qatari today..

  7. weather wasn't great when she came this afternoon, but its still shot-able..... it was 9V-SKC...
  8. it terms of car park, yes, one can see its expanding but the LCCT itself? which way is it expanding?
  9. huhuhuh that is a great rotation shot...
  10. ehhh Sneeze, how come no photos of your morning session with Cabin Teh?
  11. those wearing MAB jacket is actually the oil palm estate guard (equivalent to AP, minus the fire-arm). they do carry along walkie-talkie to communicate with the estate office (including the 'BEREDAR' guys). i come across one myself at 32L threshold and asking 1001 questions but didn't asked for 'NESCAFE $$$$' a.k.a '$$$$ KOPI' (how to ask, 'BEREDAR' guys was passing by at that time and didn't even bother about me).
  12. maybe one day i can open up a new extra low cost carrier as what TF had done with his low cost AK...
  13. bro, did this guy came with a blue modenas/yamaha bike wearing black crash helmet? wearing dark blue MAB shirt?
  14. just as i have suspected. the moment i saw N740WA, i knew it was ex-MH bird which was flown to Israel for conversion into freighter bird a few months ago.
  15. well, for 2 hours spotting in Subang, you'll probably get 1 Fireflyz F50 and if you're lucky 1 or 2 bizjets.
  16. no worry, there are other location in KUL to spot. 1) Runway 32L threshold (near fuel depot not very far from LCCT) - can take landing shots in the morning and afternoon. 2) Lake side at the end of runway 14L (as mention by Ibrahim). - only suitable for landing shots in the morning. 3) Runway 14R threshold (near Bunga Raya Complex) - can take landing shots in the morning and afternoon 4) Spooky spot (near MAB building & oil palm estate) - can take rotation and landing shots in the afternoon. as for Weather Station and Obs Hill, well, be prepare to be visit by 'BEREDAR' team (guys in white pick-up with blue light on top).
  17. wooo Raj, those night shots are really stunning. must learn how to do night spotting from you, ok?
  18. is that so... -SKC maybe?.... make sure all 60+ or so thoroughly check yeah Simon. otherwise there's going to be a lot of grounded A380 at your airport..
  19. Wooo..her nose is incredibly long, more like a probe, i guess... great catch there Pieter
  20. 2 out of 3 have had fuel pump problem in as many months of service, that doesn't sound good to Airbus does it? and neither does it sounds good to SQ.
  21. from AK website it stated that on-time departure for Jan & Feb '08 are 92% & 90% respectively, are they sure about it?
  22. my advice, if you're in an emergency, don't take AK as you would regret it. better take MH as they have better on-time departure/arrival (to a certain extend that is). I've had experienced too many delay when flying with AK especially KCH-KUL, SBW-KUL and BKI-KUL route. what's puzzle me is that, KUL-KCH, KUL-SBW, KUL-BKI etc. seems to be on-time (most of the time). one actual scenario, happen last year in July. my flight BKI-KUL was supposed to depart at 1.05pm and another BKI-KUL flight was to depart at 4pm. my flight was delay until 4pm. then at 3.35pm TWO (2) AK A320 (9M-AFX & 9M-AFK) from KUL landed in BKI. my flight depart at the same time as the 4pm flight and arrived 10min ahead of the other flight.
