mas fair tickets hard to convince me... my dates only firm like 2-3 weeks before departure.. and those mas fair tickets are mostly way in advance and carries a hefty cancellation/change fine...

what i heard is a few local agents like century and tanahmas are using them on chartered flights to ferry passengers for their china tours.

i was caught outside the promo once, redeemed 45k for a KIX return some time end-oct for flight departing in nov, only to realise that there's a promo a few days later (in early nov)... in their nov-jan newsletter for 29k! called enrich... no entertained - reason being redemption tikcet already issued... cannot cancel/change ... waiting for next promo coming up next month...

that's why introduce snack box... no need to train them how to heat food, just take out and serve... save "re-traininng" cost too

i remember seeing a similar 747 with partial mh livery at TPE (cargo hanger area) back in May this year...

OT a bit: How's MI success rate like so far, to connect passengers via Changi thru MI/SQ ex-KCH/BKI? Though no much people that I talk to seems to know that MI flies to KCH/BKI... not to mention competitive price for further connecting SQ/MI flights thru Changi. Somemore SQ/MI online booking cannot book flights departing from KCH/BKI... Have to go thru agents to book MI+ connecting SQ flights ex-KCH/BKI. Seriously doubt SQ/MI forgot to update their online booking... not unless there's some sort of rule to this ? A quick check at RBA website, its possible to book flights ex-KCH/BKI online ?! duh... I remember SQ was quite competitve back in 2001 when SQ still flies to KCH/BKI...
