And you're saying that the interior, IFE and catering of Korean Airlines, CO, AA is better than MH???? Time to book a flight with them to recheck that.. Personally, I dont think SQ is that great after all, they may have a vey good Business product now but comparing their interior, IFE and aircraft shape MH is definitely on par and a strong competitor to them..Especially in EY, remember that pax love travelling with MH for their good seats and IFE...i still think this awards is well 'influenced' in a lot of ways...

Just like how the retrofitted MH 747 was codenamed 74A in my dad's roster before...so i believe they are all internal codes for MH to differentiate the aircrafts. Dont worry guys MH wont go back to older aircrafts for pax, Idris Jala believes in newer, more efficient aircrafts..

thanx to some really 'tan sri' before, like what Capt Radzi said, MH did not have the ability financially to buy their aircrafts. But now, under the stewardship of Mr. Idris, MH is certainly looking at owning as many of their own aircrafts as they can...

Guys i passed my medical check up! According to the HR at MH, my send off date would be sometime in May to HMA Langkawi...which makes me wonder, i could be in the same batch as our fellow MWer, Brennan! Imagine two MWers in one batch...i'd say, MW.com is definitely making an impact in the aviation industry

wow..BOM/KUL/BOM....they shld have some load for CAIRO-KUL-CAIRO pax as MH has discontinued that flight...and some load for BOM/KUL/BOM for those pax who are hoping to pay less instead of travelling on MH. Right now, all Indian carriers are flying the MAA-KUL-MAA sector so this is a good move..

Wonderful forecasts of profits between RM300 million - RM 700 million for FY07...thats a huge difference from initial target of RM 50 million.....MH is on track to be beyond expectations...a great article in NST says it all..congrats MH!

And i got rumours saying that the MAS co-pilot which is seconded to fly the F50 for that airline would be earning RM 13k a month..not sure how true it is though...

spoke to a captain and he says the average monthly salary of a 744 captain is 35,000 - 40,000 and thats MH by the way..
