MAS offers ultimate ‘flying’ experience
Gavin Andrew David replied to Naim's topic in General Aviation
My advise to many , if you do decide to go for this , If you're worried about the exterior view , do not go for anything other than the jumbo . If you want to have some true fun in the sim , and truly have some feeling of how an aircraft is , go for the 737-400 . The reason why I'd recommend the 737 is because , The airbus and boeing's all have glass cockpit , and that kinda kills the experience a little . The 737 classic , maintains the analogue gauges , and you will really feel really satisfied I believe , after a ride in the 737 . -

Take off , pass 1500ft , flight freeze , and then go to 3 mile final . Thats how you can get the most of it -

I wouldn't recommend the 15 mins to anyone at all Don't waste your time with 15 mins , At LEAST 30 mins , and that will give you one circuit , or , 1 touch and go and one full stop , at most ! -

Wonder whether there is any incident report on what happened here -
I would've never expected that , from an airline pilot . Would you have preferred the following ? We are having a problem with Pack #2 , we started the APU , but we're unable to engage the APU bleed for some reason , cross bleed isn't working out for us either . Technically speaking we can fly with one pack , ble bla bla abla bla ... Why would passengers need to know this? Next time on your airline flight , quote the FCOM , the MEL , and everything lah , as to why you wanna divert !

Jetpod crashes on test flight, killing pilot
Gavin Andrew David replied to Li Ren's topic in General Aviation
what are the guidelines for experimental aircraft in Malaysia ? No need for prior DCA approval ? I'm surprised , that in our time & day , that no proper simulation was done first , and this aircraft was flown without knowing whether it would fly or not , kinda strange right Like building an aircraft not knowing if it would fly or not . Whatever it is , I doubt that we're ever going to see the report on it , seeing that , prior to this we had no idea of this development in Malaysia -
