Place: Terminal 2 Observation Deck, Frankfurt Am Main Airport Weather: Foggy with visibility less than 2km. Date: 9 october 2008 Time: After Midday What have i learned from this outing? Shooting a plane is like shooting a bird. Take your time to get perfect shots. Don't rush. So here goes. Comments are welcome. Especially on how to add the wow effects Welcome to Frankfurt Airport Terminal 1. Air berlin Iberia and United Euro LOT Air Canada LuxAir El Al: The Israelites Yemenia Vietnam Air China Eastern Air India The Russian and Yemen Three Circles of B777. Two engines and the body. Coincedence, weather was not good, expected clear skies but heavy overcasted yesterday, no sun at all and stervenskoud (freezing cold). Aegann Olympics HS-MS5A DUS has always been one of my favorite German airports, due to traffic and excellent photo-possibilities A few corrections, Jess: Aegean, not Aegann Olympic, not Olympics HZ-MS5a, not HS (= Thailand)... Cornelis Boersma 0 Report post Posted April 7, 2009 5 more from DUS of last weekend Ghana sending B752 every Sunday Saudia operating into DUS with AB6 leased from Onur Air. They have this white fuselaged one , and also an AB6 in the regular golden/yellow livery TU154 operation into DUS is not rare My 1st EMB190 of AF (got 2 AF E190s this day), here a close-up shot of one of them BlueWings went bankrupt I believe a few weeks ago. Here a few of them stored (Wonder what Private Air A319 is doing in between them?) Further on the airport I saw 4 more BlueWings Airbusses stored. First arrival we could shoot was a LH A346 around 5.10AM Air Namibia A340 SAA A346 and AI B744 (didnt knew AI was still flying the Queen, we had 2 of them, and 2 77W and 1 77L) Then SQ A380 came accross FRA More stunning arrivals Condor 767 with WL Newest Canadian 777-300ER, with QF 744 on downwind DAILU changed duck to other duck Then EK A380 came accross FRA in afternoon, followed 1 minute later by companies 77W Starting day 2: Long stay heavies being towed to former USAFB This one dedicated to Mai (and Pieter) Kind regards from and to the The Worlds Most Isolated City Some dual approaches Most special of this day Haribo And a few randoms And finally heavy smoker 11 Edited September 22, 2009 by Pieter C.
