affendi osman 0 Report post Posted January 24, 2008 I was watching TV3 on Tuesday and saw a news about new airline, FlyYeti a subsidiary or Air Arabia is about to make an attempt to launch a flight to KUL from KTM. And as I browsed through the page, I saw this: Destinations Our destination list includes: * Bangkok (Thailand) * Delhi (India) * Doha (Qatar) * Hong Kong * Kathmandu (Nepal) * Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) * Sharjah (UAE) Any info about the schedule? Rozhan 0 Report post Posted January 24, 2008 I heard that too. Probably to bring more and more foreign workers here, and 'Malaysia Boleh' teams to to Nepal to climb up Mount Everest, perhaps hoping to get 'Datuk'-ship in the process!

Chaity 1 Report post Posted July 1, 2008 Saw their flight delay in KUL today and prompted me to check. Sad news indeed as FlyYeti is suspending their service by mid July '08. Here's a portion of the new from their website. --> Suspend ----------------------------------- Kathmandu-based low-cost carrier to suspend operations; hopes to resume operations when conditions improve Kathmandu, Nepal; June 29, 2008: FlyYeti.com, Nepal’s first low-cost carrier (LCC) announced today that it will suspend its operations in Nepal beginning mid July 2008. This decision was taken by the management of FlyYeti.com in light of the current and ongoing political environment in the country, which has impacted the airline’s ability to renew its current aircraft leasing agreements, which are always subject to government approval, and expire on mid July 2008.
