Mushrif A 3 Report post Posted September 2, 2007 Apparently they have forgotten Singapore too and even smaller country, why bother, right?? Anyone knows what is the HoS ride of Singapore? Fokker F50? Singapore does not have a dedicated aircraft. It could be the RSAF F50, SQ aircraft, Silkair or a charter from somewhere, such as Privatair 757.
Pieter C. 5 Report post Posted September 2, 2007 and another A318 i believe....wasting Malaysian tax-payer's money.... How about an A319EJ ?
Mushrif A 3 Report post Posted September 2, 2007 M'sia does not have a G-IV as an official ride (9M-ABC does not count, as it is a pte aircraft, leased by Petronas and used a lot by its advisor) Brunei also now only has one A342 (V8-BKH). It previously had 3 A342 in operations (gone to Jordan and Kingdom Holdings) and one parked A340-8000 (sold to some Saudi party?). I'm also not sure if it still has the GV. Fitri Shukri 0 Report post Posted September 3, 2007 Wow, one thing I notice is that many poor and less developed countries have more VVIP aircraft that the richer and more developed countries. It says a lot about the state of affairs and leadership in such countries and why most of them still remain poor and underdeveloped.
S V Choong 4 Report post Posted September 3, 2007 (edited) Yes Fitri I think you are right there. Everyone is milking from the gravy train! Japan has 2x Boeing 747-400, probably something else as well. Edited September 3, 2007 by S V Choong

Peter Smith 1 Report post Posted September 3, 2007 Interesting week for this topic to arise with APEC Conference in Sydney. Last year, the honourable Lee Hsien Loong (SG PM) made a surprise appearance on Tiger, coming back from the conference last year which was held in Hanoi.
