Teoh Z Yao 0 Report post Posted May 27, 2006 (edited) Hi guys... Some treats from up north.. Time: shortly after 10 am. First flowing traffic, we had an EVA MD-11: Coming after was Korean: Taxi. Take-off. Then it was highlight of the trip! Presenting Star Alliance... Then it blast off into the sky, which my camera did not capture nicely. :-( More to come... Lion; the rotation was awesome! Like an arrow leaving the bow... Pieter's 744F on landing roll.. ;-) Edited May 27, 2006 by Teoh Z Yao

Min Chun 0 Report post Posted May 28, 2006 (edited) Teoh, did you meet Tze Shan? He was spotting at Penang on Saturday (should me with me, but no chance cause some problems) You are damn lucky, I have never see MD-11 in PEN, but you got it! I saw the KE Cargo on final and touched last year as well.. Were you standing at the touchdwon point of a/c using Rwy22 and where you will hear engine roaring up for the a/c using Rwy22 to takeoff? Or midn to share any new location? Or was it somewhere behind some old houses or shops?(you can see a rusty aircraft if you were at this place) Planning to spot next week. PM me if you are going to spot. I will try my luck to obtain "permission" .. Or you may have Tze Shan to accompany you..
