MH's 40th Anniversary Celebrations

Recommended Posts

Actually this 40th anniversary is a sad event.

Those pioneers who attended the party should be sad that what they had built up in the early years was destroyed by one man.

One man? Who is that one man?

I see it as a collective thing. Mistakes and missed opportunities by many people. If it's just one man, some may even point finger at TF.

That one man? Most likely a T, whether followed by R or F, not sure who made the most damage. Maybe the first T wound it so bad that made it easy for the second T to come in for the killing.

As for the special livery, could be not a special but a retro, applied on a new generation aircraft that replaced the classic that replace the original one.

Maybe you need to go slightly earlier on why the original shareholder of MH had to sell it to the first T.....

Not sure of the happenings before the first T, in fact I thought initially the first T was a good thing. Very naive me at the time.

Oh yeah, that'd be lovely. :D

Won't hurt though to have on more than one A/C, each sporting the different (at least three) variations of that livery..

KUALA LUMPUR: In conjunction with its 40th anniversary, Malaysia Airlines (MAS) is offering customers an opportunity to win a pair of Business Class return air tickets from Kuala Lumpur to London on the latest A380 aircraft, as well as free flights in two easy-to-win contests.

In a statement today, MAS said in the "12 O'CLOCK ROCK" contest that will run only on Dec 12, 2012, customers who successfully complete their online flight booking at exactly 12.12pm (Malaysia time, GMT+8) will be selected as winners.
"There can be more than one winner so long as the transaction is completed at the stipulated time. Winners will be reimbursed with the exact amount paid for the flight ticket during the booking, excluding airport taxes," it said.
The ticket must be purchased only via the online booking engine at www.malaysiaairlines.com.
"The second contest, "LONDON ON US", is a trivia event that runs from Dec 12-17.
MAS said the trivia questions will be available online at www.malaysiaairlines.com.
Customers need to click on the contest banner at the homepage and it will lead them to the contest page.
MAS Senior Vice President for Malaysia/Asean, Muzammil Mohamad said the airline had journeyed around the world for 40 years now, and this would not have been possible without the support of its customers.
"In addition to the ongoing year end sales campaign which ends on Dec 17, we are also running two exciting contests with great prizes to reward our customers," he said.
"We've made it easy to win the contests and even learn a little more about MAS," he added.
More information on the two contests and the year end sales campaign is available on www.malaysiaairlines.com.
Both contests are open to Malaysian citizens but restricted for employees or immediate family members and relatives of MAS, its affiliates and subsidiaries. -- BERNAMA

What is the definition of "completed" in "...transaction is completed at the stipulated time"?

With the many errors of MH booking engine, I dont know if it can be the judge. For instance, the booking engine is not even showing seat availability on KUL-SIN on 31-Dec in any class, even though it is wide open with several flights a day!

What a lame contest, considering the state of their online booking performance.
