I had initially thought it was a stylized hibiscus, like Azuddin had said, but could not really 'see' the hibiscus (perhaps only the inner part of the flower but not the petals) Surprise that it means Air Asia, with the twists and turns of the logo. TAP Portugal = Transportes Aéreos Portugueses Braniff = named after the Braniff brother, Paul and Thomas Braniff Southwest = becuase it's based in Phoenix, Az which is in the southwest of USA. But "quite professional" when i heard what does it stand for! i study in malacca, when i went to KL, i used to ride on a bus called KLM Express. in this case the KLM stands for Kuala Lumpur Malacca. anyway, the bus theme is blue. Azuddin 1 Report post Posted March 4, 2006 Fendy, nice one. never thought of the painter sliped about the new UA Seth, i'm not really into it either. i prefer the early 1990 color, the white plane with orange and blue stripe, very retro. the new color is for to fix their reputation after 9/11. The former PM wanted the name Pacific Eagle for the new airline, but was not available for some reason. In fact the ori logo has the eagle motif.
