Mulyadir Fitri 0 Report post Posted August 21, 2013 Was pushing back yesterday's evening when the twin otter arrived in gloomy weather. The mat saleh pilot was asked what aircraft type by the tower and proudly answered it is one of six new twin otter ordered by MAS. Yes he mentioned MAS instead of maswings. Eh, so Viking performed the ferry flight themselves?

Alif A. F. 0 Report post Posted August 21, 2013 How long does it take to ferry this aircraft from Canada to BKI? Since it is small why not load it into a large cargo aircraft like Antonov or B744F?
alberttky 0 Report post Posted August 22, 2013 Since it is small why not load it into a large cargo aircraft like Antonov or B744F? That takes the fun out of flying! I'd fly it back from Victoria anytime!

With the sort of numbers MASwings can muster up on own, don't think they will be able to secure financing for the purchase

Since it is small why not load it into a large cargo aircraft like Antonov or B744F? It takes 8 days. Surely an adventurous trip, with stops in Alaska & Eastern Russia along the way.
