Ken K. Kour 0 Report post Posted February 15, 2006 As you all know, MH have 2 747-400F being delivered (in march?), does anyone have any idea when these will arrive in KLIA? its routing etc? is anyone going to go spot these birds?
S V Choong 4 Report post Posted February 15, 2006 9M-MPR should be arriving March 2006 and 9M-MPS around May/June 2006. Thats all I know........ If anyone is taking a trip to Boeing factory at Seattle should be able to spot 9M-MPR around the test delivery yard and perhaps 9M-MPS is taking shape in the factory as we speak. Azuddin 1 Report post Posted March 2, 2006 can't wait Hope MH go for the full color instead of the eurowhite like on the 742. I don't mind a white belly but spare the cheatline. Azuddin
Radzi 2 Report post Posted March 2, 2006 The 742s are leased; hence the white color. For the 2 new aircraft, they should be 747-4H6F, so should be in normal MAS colors just like the late MHI and MHJ.

Seth K 3 Report post Posted March 4, 2006 747F test blows nose door in Everett Hope it is not MH 74F I was at the factory tour yesterday, but it covers the 777/787 lines now, so I was unable to see the 744F in question. An MH 744F out on the flightline had her nose-door opened, so perhaps they were using it as a comparison. Quoted from airliners.net

Ken K. Kour 0 Report post Posted March 7, 2006 hmmm.. .looks like the Winglets wont have the MH logo on them.. those photos show bare winglets..
S V Choong 4 Report post Posted March 7, 2006 hmmm.. .looks like the Winglets wont have the MH logo on them.. those photos show bare winglets I suspect this might have something to do with MAS' original engineering drawings kept at Seattle. During the early 90s, all MAS 744 regardless of engine choice, do not carry a MAS kite logo on the winglets. They were added to the winglets later on. I am not sure if the last few 744 was delieverd with the Wau on their winglets. There are a few more photos..... Our Asian neighbours are taking delivery of their freighters too! Seems like 744F are selling well..... Seth K, many thanks for the photos!!!!
