This place is very good for spotting aviation, I use Nikon D90 with Lens 70-300mm VR.

 

I always use at 300mm because the distance is quite far from this location. It's better if you have lens 400mm or above.

 

I hope I can join spotting with you at next month.

Cam on....hope so too; my lens is 80-400, so should be OK

Pieter: This time of the year the monsoon wind changes direction till February, Use of RWY07R&L are predominant but ATC can change to RWY25 for easing workload whenever tailwind subsides since there is only ILS approach to RWY25.

#1 B772 SQ173 now leaving SGN 1 hour earlier (12:05PM) to allow pax. catch connecting flights

#2 B773 CX morning arrival, reversing engines on RWY07L

#3 B772 AF144 new Saturday schedule flight to SGN. AF is now flying daily to SGN on their own aircraft

Do the Fokker 70's operate any services out of SGN?

Sorry, should have read "regular" services out of SGN, particularly on Sunday's. Looking on the VN website, it doesn't present many.
