Was at KLIA Saturday morning on my way to Penang.

Saw an Asiana 747 parked on a remote bay at the satellite building. Not sure why was she there for. Also saw two Antonov's at the cargo area, again don't know for what reason.

Then in Penang, saw two Fedex planes at the cargo area. Have never seen two Fedex parked in Penang at any one time before. Hmm...

Ooi,

Code-share is like MH selling seats on KE aircraft, or KE selling seats on MH aircraft (in fact, they do on the SEL-KUL v.v. flights); likewise DL is also "code-sharing" on KE flight SEL-KUL, but didn't find any airline code-sharing with OZ (this is Star Alliance partner, so I wonder who this will be: ANA or SQ ?)

that means that if i buy a ticket from MH but i would offer a seat in asiana if the MH seats are full. Am i rite?

Ooi,

Like I said before, OZ does NOT operate into KLIA, the plane you saw was either a governmental flight or a charter; you can only code-share on KE and MH between ICN and KUL and v.v.; if you wanna fly on OZ in Malaysia, you'd better try BKI-ICN v.v. as that's the only destination they serve in Malaysia wink.gif

Seems like quite a few airlines perform the SIN-KUL vv sector. I thought MH and SQ had exclusive rights to it. I heard about JL's once daily, but the list of airlines on that sector seems more comprehensive than I thought. Does anyone know the regulations governing SIN-KUL vv, specifically, which airlines are given full traffic rights?

Only JAL (daily) & SriLankan have traffic rights. I believe Air India & Qatar also had the rights when they served SIN via KUL.

So how many EK flights do we get now, and what are the routes?

What were the previous routes EK was plying?

And which equipment are they using now? No more T7's?

Some points to highlight on the already comprehensive list:

1) Air Sahara - yet to fly to KUL

2) Garuda - No longer ply KUL-Denpasar

3) Lauda = Austrian

4) Has Top Air started services to KUL. What's the route and timing like?

Regards
