kianhong 0 Report post Posted January 13, 2009 Yesterday we experienced the coldest summer day with an average of 17C due an advancing cold front. Dropping almost a whopping 20C from an average of 35C from the week before. So I jump on the chance of going spotting while the temperature is still at a cooling 25C. Two brand new Agusta Westland AW139. Yananyi Dreaming. Australian Tiger. Bambino Blue. VH-OGQ Finally, I caught the two nocturnal 'mail birds' in actions. They departed within half an hour of each other. Thanks for viewing. Cheers.

kianhong 0 Report post Posted February 9, 2009 Thanks Greg! My pleasure. It has been a long time since Rwy 03 was in use. Coupled with blue sky and a mild 32C, a perfect day for spotting. The stubby Garuda B735 from CGK. Then Garuda 726 in the form of slightly longer B734. New Zealand 175 Here she is again ... ... EK420 in the form of B777-200LR. Dutch lady QantasLink workhorse - B717. Always great to catch one of these wingletless Flying Kangaroo. Never really notice the fuel jettison device between the aileron n outboard flap until now. First time catching this particular bird - Victor Oscar Quebec. Cheers. Thanks for viewing.
