  1. That would definitely be the case if and only they were not taxiing on the center line of the taxiway. Just wondering if the relevant airport authorities actually did any calculations of the A380 wingspan and if that particular taxiway was approved for an A380 to taxi or if that CRJ's total fuselage length allowed it to be parked at that particular parking bay. So many questions left unanswered.
  2. Flight number will be MH8333, departing KUL at 10.00AM. Flying around the airspace around KL (sorry don't have specific info for flight plan) and scheduled to arrive back in KUL at 11am. If anyone wants to go spot her departing, holler me.

  4. SQ Cargo due today morning. Will be departing to PVG carrying all the F1 equipments. SQ 7150 11/04/2011 0:08:25:00 AM 11/04/2011 0:08:25:00 AM SINGAPORE KUALA LUMPUR SQ 7150 11/04/2011 0:10:10:00 AM 11/04/2011 0:10:10:00 AM KUALA LUMPUR PUDONG Might go if weather is good.
  5. On KLIA FIDS page JS 0159 11/04/2011 0:10:50:00 PM 11/04/2011 0:10:50:00 PM PYONGYANG KUALA LUMPUR JS 0160 12/04/2011 0:12:30:00 AM 12/04/2011 0:12:30:00 AM KUALA LUMPUR PYONGYANG M07 Looks good, but timing doesn't sound quite right though
  6. While at work, I saw a 737-400 sitting inside MH hangar in FY colours. Can't say if it is 9M-FZA or they have a new bird already.
  7. I doubt it was that they didn't get their prebooked meal. It is always recommended for you to prebook your meals online if you decide to eat. Food on board will be limited and there is no assurance or guarantee that everyone will be able to buy their preferred meal on board. Think of it this way, preloading stacks and stacks of meal on board for a certain sector and only one person decides to purchase food. Not too cost worth right? Moral of the story, prebook.
  8. Don't have to politicize this issue guys. Rest assured the hangar is being built for restoration of the wounded bird. And no, it is not going to be the next LCC Terminal in KCH.
  9. Just to add a few more customary shots. 9M-XXF coming back from OOL. Latest in QZ's fleet, PK-AXQ. B-5308 9M-MLJ - my second encounter with her. V8-RBR frm BWN. The not-so-old 9M-MLI. I was also joined by a new spotter yesterday. Might have been spotting there many times before, but my first time meeting it. Cheers!
  10. Flee, 95% of the time RWY32 is in used (L for landing and R for take off). Yesterday RWY 32R/14L was undergoing calibration and at the time when you were at AT, RWY 14 was in use.
  11. MAR, they have already recruited crew from all over ASIA. And there's already one batch of Indian FAs serving the AK fleet. And yes, I happen to know Barack Obama
  12. Actually no suspense lah. It was just another great day with great skies and light. But I can say it was a pretty "heavy" day. PH-BVA arriving from AMS. Dedicated to Uncle Pieter! It has been some time since I last caught a Southern Air cargo bird. Seen here is N760SA. B-HNP coming in from HKG. 9M-MPN 9M-MPQ 9V-STN D-ABTC coming in with the last available sun light for the day from BKK. Surprise catch of the day definitely must be this. F-GRCV. No info regarding her flight routing or who is inside this Falcon 900. High chances of bringing in VIPs for the F1 race this weekend. Cheers!
  13. After the heavy downpour today morning, it was all sunny and blue skies today. My only aim was to catch this elusive bird which makes its maiden appearance in KUL ever since she underwent her C1 check & repainting. HS-ABJ with the Carabao "30 Years Anniversary" livery. Simply stunning, enough said. Will edit and share more as there were some surprises too. For the mean time, enjoy!
  14. MPP wasn't involved in the incident. Something wasn't right and at the time of posting this thread, I knew nothing. I just wrote whatever I recalled from the night before. High chances that the bird involved is a 737.
  15. Thank you very much Delwin for digging for the source. Pretty much answers my query! The airspace above KUL was just so chaotic yesterday night and it kept so many aircrafts delayed. @Gavin, yes it was from flightradar.
  16. Yesterday around 11.30PM or so Runway 32L/14R was closed up till about 3-4AM. Many aircrafts were delayed and were asked to hold at many different areas. Landing was on 14L and takeoff was from 32R A9 due to work still in progress at A10 & A11. Hon Kit alerted me when 14 was in use and watching the radar was simply mind boggling, 14L landing, 32R take off! I heard it was a MH aircraft that skidded which resulted in a tyre burst? Anyone with any genuine info? Here's a picture showing AK722 holding while waiting for 9M-MPP to take off via 32R.
  17. It's that time of the year again! The cargo movement in KUL for the F1 race. Today SQC came in even before anyone could wake up and leave before anyone can wake up too! Anyone with any information of any carrier feel free to share. SQ 7297 31/03/2011 0:04:55:00 AM 31/03/2011 0:04:55:00 AM MELBOURNE KUALA LUMPUR LANDED SQ 7297 31/03/2011 0:06:45:00 AM 31/03/2011 0:06:45:00 AM KUALA LUMPUR SINGAPORE DEPARTED
  18. KH, RWY20 season already? Good shots bro!
  19. Nice shots bro! Sorry I couldn't join you in KUL as we were down in SIN spotting that very day. Cheers and hope you had a great time in KL.
  20. Was at AT for a while only today after sending off a friend. Nothing interesting, but all in the name of sharing Latest of the leased bird in the fleet, 9M-MLJ. 9M-MPQ was again docked at gate B4. Operating as MH150 to JED. And sometimes you can get a shot like this. Cheers!
  21. I believe they are already back to service. Personally saw the trains do so many runs from the MTB to the Satelite terminal today.
  22. Sorry for the choice of words, but I believe it was already programmed in the ECU. I stand corrected anyways.
  23. Nice pics from Armand indeed! Anyways, there should be some VIP & RMAF movement in TGG today due to the passing of the King's mother. http://www.thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2011/3/21/nation/20110321084154&sec=nation
  24. Capt, I don't think they can select anything above the 23.5 as it has already been pin programmed to provide a max of 23.5. I will check and revert to you when I have more information.
