Yes I have! Even the kind ladies in the London office tell me I'm entitled to miles based on the class of ticket I paid for.

What I did in those circumstances was hang up and call back again until I got an operator who was actually updated with enrich's rules!

Based on experience, you usually need to submit a missing miles claim for this though with your e-ticket number and your Y e-ticket/booking attached. My miles have never been credited automatically before whenever I upgrade with miles.

Singapore Airlines also expressed their thoughts on twitter.

Radar contact lost in Vietnam airspace and never made contact with Chinese air traffic controllers according to BBC.

I called them up and I was offered either a reroute via HK onto CX OR via NRT on JAL. The CX-option does however involve an overnight stay.

Here's to hoping that my flight to LAX in July will be rerouted via Hong Kong on CX seeing that the departure time roughly coincides with the MH flight.

Just received an email from MH regarding a change in departure time from LAX from a previous 4.45pm to 4.20pm, so don't know if NRT-LAX is up for scraps...

In the lounge now. Just some comestic changes in terms of flooring and the toilet has been renovated as well. Other than that, looks roughly the same. F lounge is apparently only opening in mid Jan according to the lounge staff.

Read on flyertalk that it's going to be reopened on the 14th of december.

it worked at around 12am-ish then stopped working. the availability i did manage to find though was ex-KUL only and redemptions involving connections ex-KCH couldn't be found.

The Nufam Secretariat said union members were expected to vote next week on the decision to hold the walkout, in light of MAS ignoring calls by the union to lift Ismail’s suspension. “A thousand or more cabin crew union members have voiced their sentiments and may go on a wide public protest against MAS in the coming few weeks of December. “This will be the biggest ‘walkout’ to be staged by the airline’s cabin crew union members,” it said. On its Facebook, the secretariat also claimed that the welfare of the MAS cabin crew had been undermined since negotiations with the management began. MAS officials could not be contacted for comment on the matter. Most of the cabin crew I've spoken to have praised AJ for being a humble man who treats them respectfully and they like how he adapts a more "hands-on" approach by asking what the crew themselves liked/disliked when he's onboard. I've actually seem him myself making such rounds during my previous LHR flights with him onboard.
