Well, it's a crash with 'unique' 'features'. The association with the Japanese Red Army, the shooting of both pilots, the SNAFU (the plane was still flying on AP even after the pilots were shot), to name a few. Throw in some more conspiracy theories about a Minister's aide/PA onboard, and you have more than enough to fill an hour's episode!
