Lucky for the spotters and the passengers going there...Last time I boarded a widebody aircraft using stairs was when I took the DC 10 from KUL to BKI at Subang airport about 15-17 years ago...Cant remember the exact year...

Last night I got back from Tawau to BKI by AK,arrived on 2240..I saw a Korean Airlines 737NG if I'm not mistaken.....Anyone got pics or info???

CGK....Go through it every 3-4 months... Best place for airline liveries spotting....Airplane graveyards too...I love the airport except for the Immigration,seem to have animosity towards malaysian,most of the officers,but I can see why,our immigration officers aren't too kind to the Indonesians coming to KLIA either...I saw it a few times... The airline lounges are okay,I really hope Malaysian airports can have payable lounges like CGK...We only have those at KLIA,the Premium Lounge...

Arthur...The airline offices you mentioned will be moved to the unrenovated part of the T1 building a.k.a old T1 Building now,not to T2.. I sure hope the epansion got some waving/spotting area..The terminal now,isolates us from the aircrafts.

Visited the new terminal today.. The only criticism is it looks deserted,and only have 2 restaurants for the whole terminal...MCD and Asian Kitchen...Really expected more FnB outlets,because of the so-called expansion programme and the anticipated number of passengers going thru this airport... One more thing,there's 4 check in islands...Who will occupy the remaining 2of the Islands as MAS uses only 2...Will AK uses it or are they gonna stay??... And what will be on the remaining part of the terminal which is yet to be built???Will it be another passngers only complexor will it be another public complex,that we can access though we're no flying??

One question...what about air asia....when will they shift operatios to the new terminal???or are they staying at T2?

What I love bout the North American spotting sessions is that they always seem to have the bluest of bluesky....Wonderful pics guys....

Got an info from my friend who arrived at KK just now.HE said they're already using the aerobridges of the new terminal and in the terminal there's a walkalator,just like KLIA.Anybody with further info???

All I expect from AK is some public services.Let the old and passengers with children go on board first,especially AK are using stairs.It's so dangerous when people make the rush to the plane....I know it's cheap,but not everybody can afford the extra RM 20 for Express boarding...They take AK flights because they can't afford MAS' ticket,so don't expect everybody to be able to buy the Express Boarding...These are the same people who gives you profit and enable you to buy 100 Airbus.So,give something back for them.That's all...

Agree with the slow decision making.GA have 738s and even Lion Air have 739ER to replace the old MDs.... This shows there's nothing to be proud of our national carrier,old planes,low quality services and dining....Sorry...
