IIRC, China wants to filter some name(s) on the MH370 pax manifest before MAS made the list publicly. Possible some VVIP onboard ?

My question regarding refuelling record for MH370 at KLIA was if the plane carry more fuel than it claims, then the flying range will be longer.....endless possibilities

I believe 'Flight Insurance' only covers the particular flight segment only, it does not cover anything on the ground which is not flight related. However, 'Travel Insurance' is different, it covers the flights as well as the duration you spend abroad. Correct me if I am wrong

A question on the two pax with stolen passport. Apparently they purchased the tickets in Thailand for flight originating from Malaysia. I tried to book a one way ticket depart from KUL before via travel agencies in Australia (not one but three travel agencies incl flight centre) and was told not possible. I was told it is not possible to purchase ticket not originating from Australia in Australia. Is this the case or just for travel agencies in oz only ? I know I can purchase it online though

How about these two already in Malaysia, or they are Malaysian ? Perhaps someone bought the ticket on behalf of them in Phuket ?

Not to suggest anything here but according to posts in A.net, there is a big black market for stolen / fake passport in Thailand. Often people (incl. European) sell their passport to black market and claim "stolen"

And the two tickets in question were priced in Thai Baht according to a post in A.net

Now with one less B772 in MAS fleet, does MAS has the spare capacity to cover its operation ? Or MAS needs to reactivate one from the storage ?

Since it is a 'hybrid' terminal not low cost, if the charges at KLIA2 is significantly lower than MTB, will some of the airlines operate from MTB move to KLIA2 ?

I have been on MAS B738 non-BSI TPE-KUL. If give me a choice, I would choose LCC WB (Air Asia X A330 or Scoot B772) over MAS B738 anytime !

I believe JQ will face even tougher competition when Air Asia X Thai & Indonesia starts operations into Australia
