  1. This was a funny Ad, I like it so much. Did you know there is actually a second part of the video? The Ads http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sw871vN2c18 The making of 'boeing 737 lands on mediterranean sea' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eto0XfS0PS0&feature=watch_response_rev
  2. Most likely frozen to death... How stupid.
  3. I could see some obvious reason, The runway 27R was significantly longer than 27L, and when view at low altitude, they may not able to spot 27L, mistakenly assume the taxiway as 27R. But still don't fully understand, at sunrise, the sun was from behind, there shouldn't be any mistake from the runway taxiway lighting.
  4. Ridiculous... and it sounds like a big joke. I think they were BOTH asleep. How could other crew not went in and check the pilot after such long "delay"?
  5. That's skillful! Taxiway was narrow for a 767!
  6. Nope, I use EOS 500D 18-200mm, I took photos and videos.
  7. Wonderful shots all of you peoples! Very beautiful shots. Thank you. It seems my photo ain't any interesting, so I'm gonna share my compilation of the Thunderbirds videos. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o7_O0BMitSs Anyway who took my photo posing with the ladder? I want that .

  10. The seafood restaurant there, plenty of parking space. A 6ft ladder should do the job. My photo's are just far too common to share, So I'll share today's video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0nt3S4WgubM One question to all photographer, I'm still experiencing a little motion blur even on shutter speed 1/750, How fast do you all use?
  11. Tomorrow I'll be on the East side of the runway, hopefully can get a clear view of the sky + runway + base.
  12. It seems there is a potential rain, bring umbrella!
  13. Good, I'm having 200mm, I can join the club! Wanna ask, I notice the video was shot quite high from the ground, did you guys brought a 6ft ladder?
  14. That fast? Don't they need to obey the minimum radar separation? I can imagine that there are probably 2 or more aircraft was on the runway rolling after touchdown.
  15. Great shot everyone! How much mm of zoom you guys use to take the 'bird' to the front of the lens? From the initial schedule, isn't they are suppose to come on Thursday?
  16. Thanks MIR. Yea, anyone knows will there be stunts performing during the flyby? I'm deciding between KLTower or Spoting around Subang

  19. I see planes flying around in kelana jaya area for the past 1 hour.
  20. Hmm, May be going up KL Tower on friday noon.
  21. Anyone planning to go snap photos during their practice and actual session?
  22. My personal thoughts, it sounds irrational. I support the idea of removing the life vest just to reduce weight. We rarely uses life vest. Some of the users could still die trapping inside the cabin during the flood anyway. Some died from hyperthermia, some died from hunger, some die from sharks. In short, being landed at sea unattended for long hours doesn't yield good return either with or without life vest.
  23. It believe there is certain challenge to overcome the 30 days battery life. Li-ion is common but not cheap and not that stable to heat or impact. May be there isn't much of a R&D progress for such application. Another reason is the 'ping' transmission sucks power. Not many of our cellphone can standby for 30 days across thick ocean or walls. For the "Float" issue, I think it posses bigger challenge. The case is heavy, it requires lot of lift, floating it takes up space. Floating is also a bad idea during water impact because as it hits the water at high speed, it immediately react in opposite direction, increasing the impact force, and fracture the device. I'm not an expert, that is just what I think lar.
