  1. "Behind Closed Doors" does anybody catch it last night, I tot I saw a CRT screen in the DC10 cockpit.
  2. Belacan is nowhere compared to Tempoyak. It is smellier and more explosive(literally) than belacan.
  3. Saw on TV few days ago, they'll switch on the runway lights while people run the marathon.
  4. Is he on the take?
  5. Captain, 2nd Austrian 777 came last night for C check also. Will be around for 11 days. To be followed by the 3rd a/c. look like MH's MRO is doing good business.
  6. IIRC reading from a news report, the pilot (can't remember which one) rescued a baby out of the a/c.
  7. Pull out also laaa, see Singapore also pull out, so says IJ.
  8. Sorry, Austria. And she left this morning
  9. My colleague, her husband work there told me that Australia 777 is there for C-check. The 2nd a/c going thru maintenance check after MH's own 777. Sumthing like a 2nd MRO facilities for MH at KLIA.
  10. Read in the news today and the rest of it... http://www.airliners.net/discussions/gener...d.main/3858371/ and countless others.
  11. Rumour is always the truth whereas the official statement is always taken with truckload of salt. But honestly where are they sending this behemoth when they already talking about overcapacity in the future, doesn't make sense at all....domestic flight, KL to KK?
  12. If its a household item, usually when the warranty has just expire....
  13. Anybody at KLIA today. Dugong came at about 4.30pm. Unfortunately don't have my camera.
  14. Malaysian Hospitality must accompanied with food, loads of them and plenty. Ever invited someone to your house and not offer them at least a drink. MH as as I'm concerned is all about entertaining your guest with good food. What more when you're having a paying guest. My mother would never allow her guest leave her house without having anything at least a coffe or tea. MAS has really misconceived the idea of Malaysian Hospitality.
  15. Encik Ibrahim, Kluang pun ada airport apa? Boleh gak spoting. Ibrahim, Kluang also got airport what? Can go spoting also.....
  16. Was that perfume smell. I tot it was more like the aircraft's oil or something. Anyway it stick to your cloth and one time when I open my bag I can still smell the plane in my house.
  17. Asia Pacific Airlines - Operated a Metro 9M-BCH from 1995 to 1998. This could be the one that operated out of Sg Besi Airport. They also operated a few helicopter charter services.
  18. Mr Norman, the 4th picture of 737 look like old MAS postcard.
  19. Am watching House on Astro's AXN. He's travelling on this airline returning to New York (i think). And the passengers suffers a serious case of food poisoning. Wonder why it has to be a Malaysian airline
  20. Can anybody tell me this, I was on a night flight from TGG to SZB. I was reading a newspaper. When the light went off for take off, the cabin crew switch on the light for a caucasian seating in front and the back of me. But not mine. Of course its nothing much but what do you see from this? Tell me they are not bias?
  21. Encik Rozhan, most of our young readers here have no privilege of experiencing this BMW (Bas Mini Wilayah) much less "Abang Basri" (Bas Sri Jaya - KL's biggest bus companies, then, circa late 70's to 1997) MAS on the other hand was around all those time, yet they remains content to be in the past, follower rather than a leader. So sad. Hope MAS will soar again....
  22. He does actually, in meetings I'm told he corrected some of his generals even....
  23. MWingers, check this out.... http://www.misa.com.my/
