  24. Just to share several search planes involved in the search operation. These photos were photographed yesterday. Gulfstream G650 ZK-KFB serving as a communications relay aircraft taxying in at 1740. Usually flies more than 10 hours in duration for this search mission. There was also a civilian GLEX and G-550 assisting the search yesterday. The Japanese Coast Guard Gulfstream U-4 has returned back to Japan on 3rd April. The two PLAAF IL-76MD resting after their daily sortie. Larger military aircraft such as the IL-76, Boeing P-8, Boeing E-7A involved in the search are based in Perth instead of Pearce because these aircraft require a longer runway with a full fuel load. Boeing P-8A Poseidon (LF-429 and LF-430). LF-429 operated from Subang during the early stage of the search operation. The US Navy C-40A at the far right arrived YPPH yesterday, probably sending logistics and not joining the search team. One of the two Boeing E-7A serving as communications relay aircraft for the search mission returning back to Perth after a daily sortie.
