  1. Boeing 737 X from Malaysia Airlines is the Boeing 737MAX is it?
  2. Malindo logo would look better on the tail with all white like the pioneer Malindo's B739.
  3. Talking about Malindo, how to collect MalindoMiles point when flying with Malindo? I've flown twice with them under both Business Promo and Business Flexi. If im not mistaken MM points can only be collected for tickets purchased on Economy flexi and above.
  4. Hurrah! Another milestone for Boeing! SIA have always been a fan of Boeing. I think it's to add up to the current fleet of B738NG. Probably they will send back some of the leased B738 that comes without IFE and BSI. The 737MAX range is better than the B738NG.
  5. Yup. Just read the news report few days ago. The Jeddah flight will be with stopover. Was guessing they going to use A330 since it's indicated in wikipedia that A330 will be added to Malindo's fleet. Was wondering though, why the airlines buying A330 when they plan to fly to any europe destination in the future. A330 surely cant do direct from kul to any european cities. Isn't it better to get Boeing 777? Just my 2 cents.
  6. Malindo is expected to take delivery of Airbus A330-300 soon to start flights to Jeddah which will commence on Feb 21.
  7. LNC,LND, LCK. Noted. Thanks for the info. Hopefully I wont get troll by these 3 on my next Malindo flight.
  8. Let me start the thread for KLIA2 @ LCCT 2K17. AirAsia Airbus A320-216 9M-AFY parked at bay J5. AirAsia 9M-AHB taxing to designated bay at J gates while another AirAsia unknown registration ready to taxy to assigned runway for departure. AirAsia Airbus A320-216 9M-AFC at Bay K1. This particular bird used to don the Manchester United livery. Two of AirAsia special livery A320 parked next to each other. 9M-AHL and 9M-AHX AirAsia ramp crew at work. Preparing for pushback maybe. 9M-AJZ arriving Meal being stock up onboard 9M-AJW. My ride back to Kuching was supposed to be one of the A320Neo. I purposely purchased AK5226 as I know this one of the flight that operated by A320Neo daily. But luck wasnt on my side as the equipment was changed last minute. Probably technnical difficulties with 9M-NEO that was supposed to fly me. As we taxied out, I saw 9M-NEO parked at remote bay next to J2.
  9. I was there on the 28th January. Flying 9M-WSK.
  10. What are the registration of Malindo's B737NG that doesnt come with the IFE?
  11. If previous flights is being cancelled, then the pax from the cancelled flights should be transferred to any available seats on the next flights. Not kick out paying customer/pax to make way for pax from the cancelled flight. Anyone would have been enrage if treated like that. You already paid huge some of money for the flight at the time that you want, then got kick out just to accomodate passengers from previous flight that have been cancelled. Then the airline SHOULD compensate the passengers while they wait for the next available flights. Just my 2 cents.
  12. When will AirAsia start receiving it's fourth NEO? Probably registration would be 9M-AGC.
  13. Spotter being spotted! Hehe Few opposition leaders from Peninsular also came to pay their last respect. Particularly Selangor MB, Azmin Ali. But no idea which aircraft he used. Maybe commercial. Spotted few private jets also. Here they are: HB-JKI a Gulfstream G550 at Cargo Apron T7-TAA a Bombardier Global 5000 (BD-700-1A11) rested at Bay R3 while few ground crews wait under her wing. Probably waiting for her VIP passenger. DCA calibrator 9M-FCL also spotted nearby. T7-TAA finally departs Runway 25. Malindo Air ramp crew prepare for 9M-LNJ arrival at Bay 4 9M-LNJ arrives with RMAF CN235 in the background. N3099 (a Cessna 680) taxying to one of the Alphas taxiway for a departure to Subang -End- Thanks bro. You'll have your time soon.
  14. On 11 January 2017 marks sad day for us Sarawakian as our beloved Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem passed away due to heart attack. His funeral schedule for 12 January 2017. Wasn't expecting any heavies at first, then fellow spotter send msg in whatsapp group that Sultan of Brunei aircraft just departed Bandar Seri Begawan (he got it from FR24). Then i quickly take my shower and rush to spotting location shophouse. So here's my spotting log for today. While waiting for His Majesty Sultan arrival, this Viking 400 9M-SSC decide to sneak in. The only female Vikings 400 co-pilot for MASwings on duty today Good to take aircraft picture with clear blue sky as background. It's like taking passport picture for the aircraft. hahaha Was excited to see this B747 is without the normal B744 winglets. Coz it only mean 1 thing. It's the B747-8i with raked wingtips. And this is the first Boeing 747-8i to touchdown on Malaysian airports. Though the cargo version have touchdown few times at KLIA. Few minutes after the Sultan has landed, Raya Airways Boeing 767-223(BDSF) 9M-RXA depart via Runway 07. The Sultan did not spend the night in Kuching. Here His Majesty aircraft seen taxying to taxiway Alpha for Rwy 25 departure. The Mighty GEnx-2B67 engines A fellow wbggspotter favourite angle.. Have a safe flight back to Brunei His Majesty Sultan of Brunei. Government of Malaysia Airbus A319-115X(CJ) 9M-NAA. Prime Minister back to KL after paying his last respect to the late CM.
  15. It's been a while since I last log in to Mwings. Now that im free I'll start with spotting log on 18/9/2016. 9M-WSK taken on final approach for Runway 25. Vista Jet's Bombardier Global 6000 9H-VJN on final approach into Kuching.
  16. Told ya. Malaysia Airports security are one of the tightest. So there's no need to follow these rules at other country where the condition a lot worst than ours.
  17. Surely you cant smuggle weapons through our Malaysian Airports. Our airports have one of the most tight passenger security screening in the world.
  18. Their current brand new A330 can do the Dubai, Sapporo, Brisbane, Doha routes. Furthermore the A330 is much better than the A321. A321 is only longer version of the single aisle A320.
  19. I landed after the VistaJet then before the AK5212 from KL.

Actually i thought of not going for spotting session in the evening. But then another fellow spotter alerted the group of MAB sending their A330-300 (9M-MTD) to Kch as MH2528. I quickly pack my camera and out I go for spotting. Malaysia Airlines Berhad Airbus A330-323 as MH2528. I've flown as passenger on MH2528 on one of my trip back from KUL but not lucky enough to get A330. Instead I got 9M-FFF. About 10 minutes later, AirAsiaX Airbus A330-343 arrive as AK8670.
