  1. hehe... BKI T2 departure lounge is spacious enough if holding 2-3 flight (normal 70-80% loads) in same time. but i ever experience 4-5 flight of passenger squeezing in the departure lounge, with the single wash room (forget about the smell, just the queue will kill lots of your time), only 4 or 6 immigration counter... as of Arrival is another horrible nightmare, if night peak hours arrival is "fine", at least when the queue out of the immigration hall still wont feel the warm welcome, but if during 12-2pm, the peak hour have to queue for immigration out of the building under the hot sun. i ever experience is before we could queue in the building, the same aircraft is prepared for push back. for picking up passenger at T2 also another nightmare, the long traffic queue to in and out of the terminal, the parking space available. imagine packing up all kind of vehicle from personal motor vehicle, taxi/e-hailing vehicles, tourist van & bus, in the tiny 3 lanes.. if let say one full flight required 120 vehicle to clear the crowd, when 4-5 flights arrive side by side mean up to 600 vehicle around there... 😂
  2. 9M-LCK preparing for her next flight and 9M-MLT
  3. for instant, MAS move to T2 and AK remain in T1. LOL.... 😂 anyway, i just couldn't accept they create another confusing/hard-to-pronounce name for the Terminal 2 as KKIA2! better just stick back to T2 or Terminal 2.
  4. just found this in google the link for some traveler wont bother much with the direct flight or no, like 3 years ago, when i still work in travel agency, there is few inbound tour agent who only focus on Russian market, almost everyday they got pickup guest at the airport. of course, there is unlikely tourist from China or Korea as we see always arrival in group. these Russian group mostly come in family or couples, normally via KUL, ICN as i notice. same goes to Japan tourist, there's certain amount of tourist from Japan, either direct flight from Narita or via KUL. and side note, never fetch Russian traveller, or else you will welly baked in the car. as they will request you to turn of the air conditioning, and wind down the windows and enjoy the warm air (for them) under the 12pm sun for an hour. for my case is from KKIA to Rasa Ria. *sorry for being off topic from the A330Neo orders.
  5. days ago, missed the action of N121TG operate by International Air Response, flights from Guam to BKI and continue her journey to Senai the next day. and today 18Aug, her siblings N119TG depart from Senai to BKI for a short tech-stop (Initial plans), but eventually stranded here due to technical issue after the first attempt to depart around 1pm. by 4pm, she's ready back to Guam. arrive around 11.20am from Senai under the top-lit lights later in 4pm, engine start with rather acceptable sunrays but someone decided to switch of the light moment before she depart she should be arriving in Guam soon, around 0030~
  6. some regular test shot from the same spotting session on 11Aug Malindo Air 9M-LNH 737-900ER performing endorsement flight around BKI and MYY touch and go session RB link, Malindo ATR72-600 9M-LGC from her daily routine BWN-BKI flight, Malaysia Airlines 9M-MLH, the jelly fish still prefer this livery
  7. after a long awaits, we finally manage to catch someone the usual-late night traffics, which gone through several delays due to the typhoon around Shanghai China-Spring Airline, B-9986 A320-214 as 9C8594 back to PVG second to depart, China-Spring Ariline, B-1627 A320-214 as 9C859D back to PVG and the usual Xiamen
  8. manage to snake out for a fast shots 9M-MTO MH2645, upgraded from usual 738 after earlier flight MH2612/1 being cancelled. and the flying PSP unfortunately haze is here...
  9. this the fruits of abolish GST, just to fulfill public. so just enjoy it since day 1 they announced..
  10. Thanks Flee.. and yesterday night tried some late night spotting
  11. at least within the speed limit and moderate traffic. unless you keep following the same tortoise from a-z
  12. BKI-SDK by road is around 5-6hrs non stop on normal drive. BKI-TWU around 8-9hrs if via Kundasan or 7-8hrs via Keningau. if better road condition can cut short the travel time a lot. took JB-Ipoh by road as an example, before and after the highway is built. Tawau airport to semporna, before the dual lane road is built, the road condition is more or less the same, its slightly better due to lesser heavy vehicle compare to Sandakan there. and almost the entire road had been resurface on recent year. anyway, BKI-SDKvv by air is viable when the fare is competitive. less ppl willing to pay RM200++ for an hour flight in a warm plane, while there is an option to pay RM100+ or sometime even lesser on a cooler plane. not to say peak season. there's a reason why AK can make 3 daily fiights and certain day of the week can up to 5 daily. BKI-TWU needless to mention, there's like no ceiling on this route for now.
  13. earlier today was lucky enough to catch 2 Lion special livery here in BKI, not DPS first one was notified by Waiping before deciding to pay the hobby a visit, and second one came in surprise. maybe we not alert enough with FR24 First, Lion Parcel PK-LJF tech-stop in BKI as JT2619 before proceed to Wuhan. and next, 70th Boeing 737NG special livery, PK-LJZ tech-stop in BKI as JT2621 before to Changsa

  19. since it's 6 months passed for the year 2019, so i bet it's not necessary to create a new thread for it. if it's necessary, Moderator do feel free to move my post. thanks~ anyway, just back from a 2D1N mainly for spotting only trip to KUL. and here are some of my photos taken on 23Jun19. first we've 9M-XXB, the Special Girls Frontline livery arriving from JAI after nearly 3 hrs of delay. 9M-RAR delivery flight from factory. still factory smelled huh? PK-AXD, arriving from DPS as QZ550 9M-AGY any idea why only certain AK A320 equip with this type of Data Antenna/trans-receiver? spotted this is on this older aircraft and another 2 newer RA's aircraft as well
  20. thanks bro indeed, recently our weather change dramatically throughout the days.
  21. continue with today spotting session. due to the combo Raya and mid-term school holiday rush, today BKI is floated by A330. first we have AK8712 operate by Air Asia X 9M-XXJ second, MH6164 Mas Cargo 9M-MUD from KUL 9M-LNT from Tawau then 9M-XXJ back to KUL as AK8713 third we have 9M-MTA as MH2607 back to KUL missed the arrival due to the heavy downpours.
  22. another rare movement today RP-C9993 (msn:20102) Fokker 50 continue her journey after a short transit in BKI today 2019.06.05 after doing some research on the web, this aircraft is now belongs to Leading Edge Air Services corp. based in Clark, Philippine. according to planespotter.com, this might be the 4th aircraft delivered, which also the oldest airframe compare to the other 5 F50 opt by the company. she's being delivered to Air N.S.W. Australia in Oct 1987 as VH-FNB until May 2015 being stored after transfer to few airlines in Australia. unlike her siblings we caught earlier on Sep 2018 delivery in full company livery. hopefully will see her siblings delivery flight as well. and million thanks to Dayaa for his information today.
