  1. Flights to China are normally padded in terms of their block time, because of the frequent delays. I believe she's flying with a blocked sinus or some sort of a cold that unfortunately ruptured her eardrums on that day.
  2. And the spotlight continues.. http://www.utusan.com.my/utusan/Dalam_Negeri/20130522/dn_11/AirAsia-enggan-bawa-pulang-jenazah-dari-Jogjakarta In a nutshell : AirAsia refuses to carry casket back to KL from Jogjakarta. Had to be flown to Jakarta on Garuda and back to KUL on MAS.
  3. She should've obtained that letter before the flight, the ground would not have denied her boarding
  4. It is stated in the Conditions of Carriage when you buy the ticket (who reads them i know) that the carrier has rights to offload a passenger who has or is suspected of suffering from a contagious disease. As such I agree with Suhaimi, A little empathy or human touch would make the situation much more tolerable. Plus, even if the kid has recovered from chicken pox, he/she will need a doctor's letter stating so.
  5. fuahh... bloooody modern cockpit . Are those feature standard on the A380 or do operators have options to get or not get them.
  6. It's just a recommended procedure, not a must . Later aircraft with the new mod no longer have this issue .
  7. Can't comment on the taxi lights, but there is something about keeping the slats out for parking on the Airbus if OAT exceeds 30 C as it may cause a false warning of overheating to be detected from the bleed ducts on the leading edge.
  8. Vacate C6 , left C all the way till the end then make left cross runway 32L/14R to KLIA2 I suppose hahaha
  9. Airasia x has a330-200 now?
  10. It could be similar to the Turkish incident in AMS too. Similarly landed short of the runway, but this is luckier as they landed on water.
  11. Could it be something like BA38 which landed short in LHR few years ago.
  12. Am flying OD next week. Anyhow glad that there were no casualties
  13. I think that is where the optional emergency exit doors will be if they decided to go for a slightly denser configuration, complying to regulations. If you noticed there is an extra exit on Lion's 737 which are higher in density.
  14. I don't know if you guys know Jin of Hitz.fm / jinnyboytv. He posted a mugshot of himself on the back seat of the Albatros. LUCKY!
  15. anyone know any practice runs tomoro morning?
  16. And we all thought AirAsia's booking system during their promo sales is bad.
  17. I think charter for the army. Saw tweets from TF.
  18. Heard he got into debt from gambling. Smuggling to pay off his immense debts.
  19. Nope its non etops. Lot's of airport along the way within the 1 hour on single engine range, like Capt Radzi mention 420nm for the 738. You've got KCH, BTU, MYY which you can divert to in case things happen.
  20. If it arrived around noon on the 30th it might be due to the immense traffic going into KUL. Runway switched for some reason from 32 to 14 causing lots of congestion while they are trying to reroute everyone. I was coming from LGK where were told to hold until further notice. Thankfully we had a little bit of extra fuel to play with, turned out we spend 20 minutes in the hold before proceeding for 14L.
  21. Maybe owner of the radar balik kampung.
