  2. Lovely shots there as always KC.... so jealous Thanks for sharing
  3. This plane is also doing the 'Sumazau' in BKI
  4. No water cannon salute on FY's inaugural?
  5. Cattles for 'Desa' maybe...
  6. I foresee a KUL-Tianjin-Oakland route in the very near future Reason: 1. Oakland (OAK) is situated between SFO & SJC hubs, has significant Asian community in the Bay Area. 2. Penetrating US market for low cost flights between China (& South East Asia) & US
  7. Love the 'Sumazau' shots... thx 4 sharing
  8. Of course he knows! His last name is Tam, 'Jin Jung Hakka Siang' (Pure Hakka Surname) ...from Sabah some more... right BC? (Sorry... out of topic )
  9. Fabulous pics everyone! This is the closest to 'heaven' you can get! Thanks for sharing
  10. She's doing the Sumazau Kotobian Tadau Tagazo Do Kaamatan everyone! (I'm still in Kaamatan mood )
  11. Hi all, Sneak Peak of AirAsia X's newest A340, Oakland Raiders livery. ... from a Thai forum (hflight.net) http://www.hflight.net/forum/m-1243595743/ Enjoy!
  12. B737-800 (some with winglets) Scheduled charter flights, like OZ used to do in the past
  13. Hard Core Spotter!
  14. Why is it in Oakland Raiders livery? D7 starting KUL-OAK soon? (If so, where will the transit point be?)
  15. Pelancongan Cepat Bersatu Sdn Bhd is the General Sales Agent (GSA) for UA in Malaysia. KL Main office is located in Bangunan MAS. Tel: 03-2161-1433 (Look for Pauline or Diana) Pen branch is located in Pengkalan Weld. Tel: 04-2636020 (Not sure if they still maintain this Penang branch) FYI, Jul/Aug is summer peak. Hence, lower fare booking classes may not be available anymore, & you may have to fly in higher fare booking classes. Since you're in PEN, I suggest you to 2 reputable travel agents, PST Travel & Ace Tours.
  16. Contact 'Pelancongan Cepat Bersatu' (GSA for UA) in KL. Penang also has a branch I think. Or any reputable travel agents. They have a special fare ex-Malaysia, guarantee cheaper than any internet fare. Routing will be: PEN-SIN-NRT/HKG-SFO/ORD-MCO PEN by MH/SQ/MI (any carriers), fare already included in the ticket. NRT or HKG will be the Asia transit city SFO/ORD gateway hubs for UA Another option will be by NW/DL (GSA is located in Menara TA One, I think): PEN-SIN-NRT-MSP/DTW-MCO PEN-SIN by MH (fare included in ticket) MSP or DTW is NW's gateway hub With DL/NW merged, I supposed this route may also be permissible: PEN-SIN-NRT-ATL-MCO CX also has CX+AA special PEN-HKG-LAX or SFO - (AA/CX codeshare) - MCO If MH or SQ, fly to their US destinations and purchase the domestic flights from e.g Virgin America, Jet Blue or Southwest.
  17. But AAB had always used the A319 to come to BKI when he was PM then
  18. Labor day golden week holidays in China. Chinamen (& Chinawomen) love to come to Sabah. Used to be several chatered flights from all over China. Only 1 flight this year, economy downturn.
  19. Can MH drop off the 'royalties' somewhere en-route before proceeding to the intended destinations? Like BI sometimes does.
  20. Anyone caught the China Southern A319 today? (STA:1600)
  21. I really like to see those pics too. I heard Arkib Sabah still have some. I'm very interested to know the interior config of those planes. Imagine those days owning a B707 is like owning an A380 today. Have you heard stories like, the whole Sabah ran out of sugar, Tun M flew his 707 to Singapore to buy sugar. Or crave for some food & flew to Singapore or Hong Kong to tapau.
  22. ehh.... half of the 'Singapore Girls' are Malaysians anyway. Malaysian air force jets not enough range... anyway DSNR already used one, TSMY another one, & DYMM-SPB-YdPA used one to South America.... so not enough jets to use anyway. BTW, Selangor got royal jets or not ah? Sarawak got 9M-ATM. Last time Sabah's Tun Mustapha got 2 private B707s. Ahh.... Another reason could be MH's F-class to LAX is fully booked (why didn't we think of this reason ah?).... remember the 'stimulus' thingie?
