  1. I very much doubt it. Im sure there are crew here. Also Im sure people like Craig or Ashley (amongst others) may well have more miles or sectors.
  2. Haven't updated this since 2013... so the bolds are 14/15/16/17 additions . The things i'm looking forward to this year is to ride an A35K and Max8 with a bit of luck and to try a few different products. 3. Well.. you asked what I was inferring a few days ago. So I'm returning the favour. Clearly, it seems that you think only you get to use the phrase, but not others? As for getting it "together"... I seem to recall rants about suing/complaining to mavcom/raising stink on social media and taking it to the nth level, then attacking other members who disagreed with you. I am actually quite "together", but thank you for your concern nonetheless. "All ppl could see" + "when people gave it back to you" = Do you mean just you? If not, it would be a terrible generalisation and dragging other members in good standing down. Like i said, I humbly submit I have very much got it together, and I'm still and have always been polite, haven't used foul words, haven't used demeaning comments like "woman" , or dragged ancestors/family/parenting skills into the equation. Again, thank you for your concern about me not being able to "take it" but believe me when i tell you that this little bit of discourse we are having is mild midsummer breeze. If we could get back to the real topic - which you diverted from to attack my parenting skills/children/gender and went all non-sequitur ... how far along are you with your complaints? As i mentioned, we are in the same boat, and if I'm able to achieve a successful outcome, I'm more than happy to also pursue it.
  4. What are you inferring ? You fight like hell - and now when someone agrees with you you bring children into the equation ? Just so you know ya ... the so called people who didnt suffer your misfortune ... we are in the same boat. I have flown the bloody plane twice. And have another 3 more to go. All booked in good money revenue J. All moved back. I dont want to speak for others above individually - but in total I counted 17 segments across these so called people being sarcastic to you. So again. What are you inferring?. We are together arent we ?
  5. hahaha so we were on the same flight....can't believe it was actually announced that way to be honest....
  6. Best announcement just now on MH782 by the IFS ladies and gentlemen please note that cabin crew are not allowed to upgrade without authority Apparently some J pax tried to upgrade to the F seat.... but to have it announced publicly like that was quite strange πŸ˜›πŸ˜
  7. Let me guess... you think this doesnt affect anyone other than you here .. hence thats why you think theyre making selfish comments against you, and their opinions would be different if they had a horse in the race ?
  8. Calm down and take the emotion out of this folks. Yes, anyone is entitled to do anything he or she pleases... but just trying to save you time and effort . Just some friendly advice here nothing more, because in reality there is no leg to stand on with regards to the seat reassignment not aircraft swaps. It happens and their conditions of carriage has this covered.
  9. Delivery flight : 9M-MAB EX-TLS 29NOV17 1330LT flight MH5025 TLS/KUL 1330/0945+1
  10. go to flyertalk. I put a few pics up there in the MH forum.
  11. SS9 is a little less cruddy than SS7 - without the middle seat. But both are superior to SS2 and by extension SS9-2 big fan of the SS7/9/WY product. It's very good - this change not so good
  12. Stupid. 12 hours out and the seatmap is gone.
  13. Actually BA probably didn't know if I was wearing a bintang beer singlet and slippers or if I was wearing a ball gown cause I checked in in KUL on CX and got the upgrade at the gate. - but in any case generally try to wear something proper Just what I like to do, not because of any upgrade hopes but manners and respect for other pax and it makes me feel better too
  14. The tool BA uses is called DUT - discretionary upgrade tool. The algorithm of which has baffled many people since time immemorial. SOMETIMES - it is purely status related, SOMETIMES it is a mix of status and to use it as a sampler/temptation for future purchase -try once you may buy, and SOMETIMES it is purely used as a temptation tool and status plays no part. No one except those inside know it. I got one a few weeks back from J to F from HKG-LHR - and i was told WHY i got it. Sometimes they don't tell you and you're scratching your head - just take it for what it is and enjoy, because there is no way to predict, nor influence it with BA.
  15. Qatar's rules (not sure about the other countries) - travellers are treated as musafir and not obliged to fast. Yup. It's completely gutted now. or more recently: The Zimbabwean dollar. My colleague has a few 100 trillion dollar notes, which were worth cents at the time, so he kept them. They're now worth 10 -15 pounds each for the novelty value. Maybe I'll keep a small enrich balance for that purpose
  16. I still don't know - I woke up to watch the sunrise in Doha and sehr (sahur) there was 3.10am. It was bright by 3.25 or so. Flew DOH-LAX at 730am which was run close to as far north as 81N and in 100% daylight - it never got dark. Finally set about 20.30 in Los Angeles - close to 29 hours of no night. It's very hard on the body. I feel like sh1t 😝
  17. Urgh that was quite an experience... 29 hours daylight straight whilst not in a high latitude country....
  18. It's been 10 for a while now. I'd like to say lot started late 2014-mid 2015 but can't remember fully.
  19. No idea - but it is still sitting at a remote ramp. No one has deplaned yet.
  20. man who charged cockpit door claimed to have explosives..... MEL is now closed, and in lockdown mode.
  21. Just heard from my little brother in MEL airport. No details as yet. Details sketchy : reached 5000 feet someone tried to charge the cockpit door. Plane returned to MEL and is as of now still holding at taxiway Kilo.
