  1. SQ and Star Alliance extensive network will attract more Malaysian traveler to transit in SIN, therefore eliminating the needs to travel through KUL.
  2. Quick action Changi airport, continue to improve even though still in top three, unlike our beloved airport management.
  3. Another AK achievement by setting up new hub, seems that AK fly to everywhere nowadays. congrats AK, keep the good work.
  4. MH never listen, so why bother? Hope that someday someone that have the ability and passion for aviation industry will set up a new great airlines to rival the big boys (SQ,QF,BA etc) and makes us proud.
  5. I don't think B737-800 will be use for long haul trunk routes, it is impossible given the range of that aircraft (5,665 km).
  6. AirAsia X will start flights between Abu Dhabi and Kuala Lumpur in November 2009. The Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) made the announcement after the long-haul budget airline confirmed a few weeks ago that it was setting up a second hub in the Gulf region. The carrier’s inaugural flight will touch down at Abu Dhabi International Airport on November 23 and will mark the beginning of five flights per week from the Malaysian capital. As a low-cost carrier operating during an economic downturn, AirAsia X is expecting the new route to be very popular, and an Airbus A340-300 configured for 256 seats in economy class will be deployed on the service. Reaffirming the global drop in first and business class passengers, the carrier’s A340 will only hold up to 30 passengers in its premium class cabin. “We are ecstatic with our first long-haul route into the Middle East from Kuala Lumpur,” said AirAsia X CEO Azran Osman-Rani. “This clearly indicates that our expansion plans are on track, which represents our determination in providing truly low fares on our long-haul, low fare services across the globe.” Osman-Rani added that the airline had plans to expand further into the Middle East. “We foresee an increasing trend of UAE travellers flying to Malaysia for holidays; [we are] tapping into a very lucrative market.” ADAC vice president of airline marketing and aeronautical revenue Mohammed Al Bulooki added: “Abu Dhabi aims to increase its reputation as the capital’s airport, and we continue to increase connectivity and the range and breadth of services we offer to our local community, as well as our customers from further afield.” Abu Dhabi is the eighth long-haul destination for AirAsia X. 7. What amuse me is that SQ keep their tag line "Singapore Girl - A Great Way To Fly" until now while MH keep changing theirs. Every ads include charming SQgirls...
  8. Nice new livery. Impressive The batik seat cover look good too.. Now it is time to wonder when MH will announce their WB renewal....
  9. I always wonder, if you are MD/CEO of MH, what sort of improvements that you want to do? Any comments?
  10. Yeah.. MAHB and MH better wake up and do something.
  11. SQ never fails to impress the crowds with their products. Wonder why MH management can't learn a thing or two from them. BTW, very nice and detailed pics you got there kianhong
  12. Yeah it would be great. After all the flops that MH created such a lovely aircraft. Love to see Boeing livery with MH wau. Guess I just have to wait forever for such thing to be materialize.
  13. Must say that the Cosmo Suites looks nice and comfy, although look generic. Prestige Sleeper have slight seat-pitch change, thus enable it to become fully flat bed. Overall, a very good products and congrats to KE by introducing new premium seats for their customer. Wonder if MH will do the same for their business class seat.
  14. who knows! under the new advisor, perhaps they could work out something
  15. IF skyteam don't want MH, MH could creates her own alliance. although not many great airline left, but being the founder i'm sure MH will get more benefits. just my 2 cents
  16. sorry if my questions is silly. i think a few years ago boeing ask MH to be their partner and a launch customer for the new aircraft that they want to build (B7E7). boeing even said in the local newspaper they proud MH become the partner but NH is their launch customer now. what is/are the circumstances that MH didn't become the launch customer? your answer is very much appreciated.
  17. very nice new first class suite. look like every airline that introduce new seat will feature suite in their first class. truly luxury. wonder if MH willing to spend a little extra to introduce superior suite for their first class and business class and fancy economy class seats (like SQ and EK) when their A380 become available.
