  1. Yeah. The price are all 2.3k above. But I can finally say Glastonbury Festival is a possibility.
  2. Owh my god.. So very funny. Muka tak bersalah some more. I think i know why there's no FA helping him. He/she must be the one taking the picture. And i still cant stop laughing....... thanks a lot.....
  3. Airbus challenges students to shape the world of aviation 14 October 2008 Airbus is launching an international competition "Fly Your Ideas" for student teams worldwide to come up with innovative ideas to shape the future of aviation and help to enhance the sector's eco-efficiency. The objective: creating more value with less impact on the environment. The competition is open to college and university students from around the world, studying a degree, Masters or PhD in any academic discipline, from engineering to marketing, business to science and philosophy to design. The proposals can look at a wide range of topics including new materials, products and/or processes as well as aircraft performance, manufacturing and organisational and operational performance. A top prize of €30,000 is offered to the team whose idea demonstrates the greatest potential for improvement. The teams will advance through different competitive and challenging rounds, concluding with a live final at the Le Bourget Airshow in June 2009. "The Fly Your Ideas competition gives students the opportunity to work with Airbus. Together we can share fresh and innovative ideas and thus shape the future of aviation", said Tom Enders, President and CEO of Airbus. "As an eco-efficient enterprise, Airbus provides leadership by encouraging and delivering responsible solutions. With our university competition, we want to include new views and ideas in the early stages of our long term technology work", explained Patrick Gavin, Airbus' Executive Vice President Engineering and patron of the Fly Your Ideas competition. "We are committed to developing new technologies to ensure that air transport continues to be an eco-efficient means of transport, delivering economic value while minimising its environmental impact." Airbus as a world leading commercial aircraft manufacturer has the most modern and comprehensive family of airliners on the market, ranging in capacity from 100 to more than 500 seats. Over 9.100 Airbus aircraft have been sold to more than 390 customers and operators worldwide and more than 5,300 of these have been delivered since the company first entered the market in the early seventies. With annual revenues of over 25 billion euros in 2007, Airbus is a global company, employing around 56,000 people of some 80 different nationalities in design and manufacturing facilities in France, Germany, the UK, and Spain, as well as subsidiaries in the U.S., China, Japan, and in the Middle East. More about the competition at: www.airbus-fyi.com. Not sure if anything about this has been posted before, but this is kind of interesting.
  4. OMG. Rasa bersalah already. Now where are the pillows and blankets...........
  5. My God..... I've never been this jealous before. I sure cannot work in the plane though, as I'll definitely get starstruck... I think they're showing the seat headrest or something. Maybe explaining something to the reporter. Haha...... By the way, good job Capt. Nik.
  6. Exactly what I was thinking. Just cakap sesedap mulut saja
  7. Its not that bad, is it? There is some pattern/arrangement and the diagonal effect is pretty good too. But nothing beats first-hand look. Hope I'll be in one of those A330.
  8. Nothing beats the young hot blood trying to prove how capable they are, isn't it? I think I'll try my best to take comfort from that.
  9. So will this smarties concept be apllied to the whole fleet or just 737 and A330?
  10. Ahaha...... it was only a few weeks ago they have this big promotion in the middle of klcc.
  11. I see..... was just wondering. But then again, isn't MAS the client here? So, they are the one who rush things up, aren't they? And missing as much as 21 destinations in the main page, and available in other page is just unacceptable. This is the "here and there bugs" i was referring to.
  12. Looks great. I just hope they make sure the details are all there, and the bugs here and there are fixed, before they rush and make it available. All the lacking overshadowed the new mainpage and just give people other excuse to hentam them further. I believe the booking page is still the same, right? Cant they just revamp the whole site, or are they going to 'upgrade' the look gradually. (heck, i dont know if the terms i use are correct or not. not an IT guy). But at least there's improvement. So, good job. Yay......
  13. I hope I can see the pictures of the seats in the widebody. They look awful enough in the 737. But who knows, this smarties concept may look great if taken in large dosage.
  14. Its just plain hideous. Maybe, if all goes well (or not), they're going to fit this scheme in the new 738. Wow........ I mean WOW.
  15. Yusoff, I'm a hardcore DA fan from the audition show. It was tripple blow actually. MY Chelsea lost, then DA lost, and I miss the megastructures. But then again, thanks for the repeat info. Not gonna miss it this time. Set in my reminder already. 3 dimension model - perspectives for this building i work on.
  16. Crap..... I remember watching the promo last week. Then forgot about it. Missed the 9pm one bcoz of American Idol (my guilty pleasure). And now I'm reading this at my office. Freaking 3d.....
  17. Oh....... Sorry. I didnt really refer my post to the snekbox per se. I'm actually behind IJ and MH most of the time. I dont really give sh*t about snekbox too. I was just saying about the "from business point of view" thing and how you make this business review without considering those who make your business a business in the first place. Its just ridicolous.
  18. Thats what i was thinking. How come you speak from the business point of view without considering the major contributor to your business?
  19. I think i know what sv is trying to say. U're free to express ur opinion, as long as it contributes something to the forum/topic, and Ryan, lets be honest, yours are more of a private arguments with ur so called 'Baker'. We dont really want to know what you think about him. Thats all.
  20. We're kind of off-topic here, aren't we? But that really happened? . Wonder where is he now. Fired ka? But the video is amazing. I was thinking maybe MH can have some kind of competition on producing their inflight videos. Heck, i even have some ideas if i were to produce a video for them. But this one is good already. Lets just hope things get better from here.
  21. Dont change the logo. Its recognizable already (i think). But upgrade the livery. I really like the livery on 744, but it looks plain on other aircrafts.
  22. Oooooo my god. I thought the Manchester trip report was great. But this one beats everything. Flying the F1 teams and drivers - I'd give anything to be on the flight - well.... almost anything. And you fly Mark Webber with you? That is sooooo great. . I envy you Capt Nik. Very.......
  23. MAS B737 AirAsia B737, A320 Firefly F-50 SriLankan A330, A320 Gulf A340 Hmmmmmm........ That's all?
