  1. Hehe.... Pot calling the kettle... Like he never did something like that before. Maybe he's afraid the truth has came out. I mean the facts.......
  2. Is it disclosed in the contract when you sign to work for a company? Or they just e-mail the letter for you to sign once you screwed up? Surprise, surprise....... Its always better to resign than get sacked. At least they're not sacked. EK probably provides them with sufficient rest, but even in A.net, the fatigue issue always surfaces when it comes to EK's staffs stories. As far as i remember, I don't recall reading similar issue about other airlines.
  3. From what I read, fatigue problems for EK staffs - pilots of cabin crew - is kind of common. Maybe the airline should be questioned as well. Pre-prepared resign letter. That's something I don't want to see....
  4. No. UIA. Since you asked, I guess you study at USM. Maybe that thing is compulsory to all universities, but most of the cafe's has already stopped using it since last sem. Haha..... Hangat-hangat tahi ayam....
  5. I was thinking the same thing seeing that they now almost back to the so called 'hot meal' instead of the sandwich. Why not just use the trays?
  6. That thing is hideous. Cafeterias at my campus are using it for the biodegradable reason. It just doesn't look good. How stupid of MAS to use that. It is just fugly. Period.
  7. Wow.... They really are stepping up their game. The planes and the interiors look great. But I personally think it's better to have your logo at the tail. Easier to recognize. Just my 2-cent....
  8. Same question here. How are they going to increase the width but maintain the capacity. Win some lose some?
  9. But then again, business decisions shouldn't be made based on if and maybe........
  10. If, say MH cancelled the A380s, how long will it take for them to have a new fleet of WB? Their current A330s and B747s are ageing as it is, and received fair amount of bashing around here. The T7s are still considerable, though it is clear they are way behind even on 1st glance. Me too think the A380s are too big for MH, but if done correctly - the interiors, inflight ent, seats - there might be some hope. How many of you are selecting certain airlines because they deploy A380 on a route you are on? This may not help, especially almost 2 years down the road, where A380 might be common sight, but its worth mentioning, I guess. And maybe, at that time, who knows, economy is good again, people may choose MH A380 instead of AK A330/340. Just my 2 cents......
  11. That's one saucy livery. Yeah..... its great to see what the reactions are going to be like. Maybe Cpt Nik can provide some closure from MAS' point of view on using these online networking thingy...... My bet is that thay are not allowed....
  12. Heh.... I guess they are not that superstitious. But then again, what else can they do? If they stop the A330 on that route, the same should be done to other routes using the same aircraft. I haven't read all the post. But this is isolated case, right? Doesnt affect the whole A330 fleet?
  13. Air New Zealand offers lonelyhearts flight to 'Great Matchmaking Ball' Australian Associated Press Air New Zealand said on Friday it will offer a lonelyhearts trip for US singles to New Zealand in what it is billing as the world's first matchmaking flight. American singles are being offered the chance to fly from Los Angeles in October to "get amongst it" with New Zealanders at the "Great Matchmaking Ball" in Auckland. Before take-off passengers will attend a pre-flight gate party at Los Angeles Airport, and themed food, drink, entertainment and games will be offered during the long flight, said Air New Zealand's Steve Bayliss. The global downturn in travel due to the economic crisis and more recently the swine flu outbreak is leading the airline to come up with unusual marketing ideas. Earlier this week it launched a domestic television ad showing staff including baggage handlers, pilots and cabin crew at work wearing very little but body paint. Even chief executive Rob Fyfe appeared briefly in the advert. I wonder how many will turn up. Haha.....
  14. Nothing big. It just that we're feed with this support our own product/service bs, and there are 2 things here - fly SQ and operate oversea. Haha. But personally, I don't give a sh!t about that. You have the money, you as consumer has the power to choose. Just pick whatever you think better for you. And about the Sultan using SQ, he has to transit at LAX after all if he used MH, isn't he, while he can have direct flight to SF using SQ. I think its easier to transit in SIN than LAX, no?
  15. Really hope MAS can capitalize on all these great features. That's one hell of a beautiful interior.
  16. Well said Tim Lee. I believe the passenger is well aware that he had to go with airlines that provide facilities for the disable, as that was not the first time he boarded an airplane, and since AK promises they can accommodate that, he made a conscious decision purchasing the ticket. How can someone blame the passenger for buying the ticket when the airline itself is promoting how they have facilities for the disabled. Thats just bs. Easier said when u're not it that position I guess.
  17. Just post the story at Tony's wall at Facebook. He'll read it then, I guess. Along with thousands of his friends/fans.......
  18. It doesnt look to shabby, I think. At least its better than the mostly white Delta livery. But given a chioce, I'd pick the normal KLM livery over this one.
  19. Owh..... I see..... But Airbus is making in headlines in the middle east right now, just not the good ones. What with Qatar A346 bashing, and now this EK A380. But I think I agree that this is a mega project, so no wonder its always under the microscope. Every little problem is newsworthy. Even better when their biggest customer has something not so nice to say.
  20. I can assume u're not an Airbus fan? I hope they can figure something out. I kind like Airbus. Dont have technical facts or data to support my statement. I just like them.
  21. Wow.... Interesting. I hope the new LCCT design still reflects the main terminal building. I hate to see 'rojak' architecture under 1 master plan.
  22. I thought I read it wrong. Till the end of this year only. But it really is until end of next year. Wow...... that's a whole lot of business class passengers to get ticked off. Dont really think the reply justifies the poor seat arrangement or answers our concern. Here's hoping our complains get proper attention from appropriate people. But judging from the reply, looks like its already set in stone. Isnt it?
  23. I believe that this is not a new airport. I read that it is still a part of KLIA, hence the name 'KLIA East @ Labu'. Do they already have the drawings or the plans of this new terminal already? Curious to see how it looks like.
  24. Its been said a few times in this forum how full loads doesnt really guarantee profit on this route. I'm no expert in this issue, but it is one of the more interesting ones to read. What with the speculation and theory and all.
  25. Just curious, In this case, who is more responsible - AK or MAB?
