  1. Very proud! Nicol David and her megawatt smile. Don't care what the world says of MH and Malaysia. Anak jati Malaysia
  2. Since this will be another sleepless night, will stay up to watch the opening ceremony due at 4am Malaysian time. There will be a tribute to the victims : http://www.themalaysianinsider.com/sports/article/commonwealth-games-opening-ceremony-tribute-to-mh17-victims
  3. Watching the live ceremony in Eindhoven now, the victims treated with such respect and dignity, the dam finally broke and buckets of tears flowed freely.... :-(....
  4. Reading this s**t article has inspired me to get hold of Solzhenitsyn's The Gulag Archipelago to understand more of the Russian propaganda
  5. if you do get the desired underwear aircraft, please put up your famed TR, including the exclusive Suzanne Goh only shot. I guess that pic has not graced any 787 yet. Some of us NEED a good diversion from MH17 here.
  6. Definitely! After the roller coaster emotional ride the past week, the only tangible way to support is to continue flying MH. Screaming shouting and ranting bl**dy murder could only assuage a little of the anger.
  7. It takes a lot of courage and guts to face the world smiling (?) at such a depressing time. But then , MH crew is the bravest of all. After all, the occupational hazard is the highest for them
  8. Same here. Angkasawan program, sponsoring medical students to study there. Cut cut cut!
  9. Vivid images of first trip in ex-Heliconia (to EWR) 10years ago keep replaying in a loop... Everything came surging back with such clarity, I cannot imagine how the affected family members feel now. Just found out that a colleague's husband was in MH17 too. Devastating, heart wrenching.. words alone cannot describe. Stay strong!
  10. Not just these areas. Made it in record time last Sunday during off peak hours. From aircraft door to home in Cheras - including baggage collection and taxi journey : 35min
  11. The golden goose has stopped laying eggs and no one is interested anymore? Parasites and the likes know when to jump ship and attack next money making target.
  12. The counter check in staff that served me just too a glance across the looooong bag drop queue, heaved a resignatory sigh, and did her job wordlessly. I think she was also hoping that the management could come up with a better check in plan. Compared to MH, AK has many more check in counters opened during peak hours, in relation to the number of flights. One would think that MH is understaffed....
  13. Passengers are there to give MH 'issues' all the time. It is how MH respond and treat the said 'issues' that matters. In the incident that I mentioned, only 2 bag drop counters were operating vs 4 usual check in counters, during morning peak hours. Initially 4 bag drop counters were open, then 2 staff nonchalantly sauntered off, I suppose for their protected tea break. The bag drop queue twisted and turned, headed for the entrance door. Go figure.
  14. The queue will not be shortened or waiting time lessened! Bag drop queue and waiting time usually much longer than traditional counter check in queue for international economy in KLIA. Many exasperating reasons why MH should have solved this problem but didn't. So I prefer to bag drop/check in at KL Sentral whenever feasible. One incident I remembered well in KLIA - I ditched bag drop queue after waiting for 5m yet queue didnt move. Joined the shorter counter check in queue and completed check in faster than bag drop queue.
  15. The real bashers who do not support MH are not here. People who do not love MH will not visit this site ritualistically.
  16. Isyyyhh!! Too late now to get a first day cover.
  17. Let's just say that junta 'ada taring', while the other gomen is toothless?
  18. Yup true definition of 'skin deep facelift' - beyond the front page, the user unfriendly booking engine still very much the same. Minor irritating bugs still there. These bugs have been so omnipresent, I now treat it as a norm. Still waiting for a 'new and improved' website after so many years....
  19. After the first Viva hit, I was thinking irrationally, that someone could have brought in a car full of explosives. What are the security measures to reduce such accident risk? I remember many years ago ambulance transporting patient into aircraft being allowed access into tarmac with just an ID check of the ambulance driver. Not sure whether it is still allowed now.
  20. Oops my mind wasn't working well this morning, although I knew there was something missing there
