  1. Could this item be a part of 9M-MRO? http://www.chinapress.com.my/20160124/%E5%B0%8B%E7%8D%B2mh370%E5%AE%A2%E6%A9%9F%EF%BC%9F%E3%80%80-%E6%B3%B0%E5%8D%97%E6%B5%B7%E5%B2%B8%E7%8F%BE%E9%87%91%E5%B1%AC%E6%AE%98%E9%AA%B8%E3%80%80/ Reported in the China Press of Malaysia, in Chinese only.
  2. Love Fiji Airways, Alitalia, Cathay Pacific and Air France's simple touch.
  3. Relax, When people disagree with you, don't need to get cranky and demonstrate your level of 'maturity'. Nobody have ever asked you to contribute your ideas and suggestions towards the livery and when you do it out in the forum, people will comment. I don't think the Air Calin, Cayman Island livery NOR the KTM livery looked good. So lets agree to disagree. Let the expert and graphic designers do their job.
  4. Air NZ black and white complements each other well - ying and yang theory. A bit of understanding of colours could go a long way. Blue, Red and Yellow are strong colours. When you have too much strong colours, it will not make it look good. If you look at many major and good design, they often have less colour, which keeps it simple. 3-4 colours is an eye sore, let alone all strong colours. The national flag should not only be the generator of an idea. It can start with other things. Understanding colours:
  5. Oh cool. It may end up looking like a clown suit
  6. Most are muslims from the South of the Phillppines who came and was given free handout of ID cards under the sickening intention for the incumbent political party to boost the muslim population in our state, so they can stay in power. Most of these new comers couldn't afford their home/ food, let alone air travel.
  7. Yup, I am aware of Batik Air in Indonesia, which is a subsidiary of Lion Air Group. So there is nothing wrong with Malindo, which is also a subsidiary of Lion Air Group, to use the Batik Air brand.
  8. "Horses' dick" sounds better? Really? Batik Air is cool, I was actually hoping it will get renamed to Batik Air, so my dream has come true!
  9. What do you mean? It has to be American pride to begin with!
  10. Thought one of the aircraft destined for Skymark was almost ready for delivery?
  11. Still prefer Dragonair and the dragon logo!!! It is official indeed. http://www.dragonair.com/ka/en_HK/cathaydragon/introduction.html Wonder if they borrowed the defunct idea of MH being the blue and AK being the red...
  12. First time to see an A400M in TWU? By the way, the A342 should be piloted by his Royal Highness, no?
  13. Not really reclamation, in the report, I can see they want to use the piles supported method as seen at the end section of the new runway in Tokyo Haneda, this is so the waves and water course are not severely disrupted. Anyone who has been or lived in Wellington will know how rough the weather and see it down that southern coast in Wellington.
  14. My experience with the BKI custom seems to be more stringent than their Peninsular counterpart. In KUL, nobody gives a hoot. In the past KUL custom (1980s - early 2000s) gives a hoot because they wanted some under the table money.
  15. A320 most likely. Their fleet only consist of A320-200 and A330-200/300 at the moment
  16. If BKI doesn't work, how can they make KCH work? BKI and Sabah as a whole is better known to Hong Kongers and mainland Chinese. I often told people I am from Sabah and they immediate know where it is and in fact many has visited Sabah. Many seemed struggle to know where Sarawak is, however.
  17. EK with an A380... (Good luck with landing that behemoth in WLG)
  18. I just saw the video on Museum of Flight page and it seems they have the system on and blower functioning. Other than that, no definite dates yet. But keep on saying getting close all the time. The restoration project started way back in 2007 from what I read?
  19. Whoa. I know the runway is long enough at Canberra to land a 777, but Wellington! Wellington had been receiving QF 747SP in the 1980s though... Thing I am not sure about is whether Canberra and Wellington will have the pax. capacity though, other than the politicians between the capitals of both countries.
  20. Me too, Australian too apparently. The US and Australia has a land mass to be able to preserve their aircraft and the appropriate desert dry climate.
  21. Interesting read away from the domination of contemporary aircraft such as the B777, B787, A350, A380 and etc. Source: http://www.airlinereporter.com/2015/08/first-boeing-727-prepares-last-flight/ Would be interesting to see this old bird coming to life again, keep your eyes peeled. 22. Yep, it works for many Asians though. I always ask them... if everyone becomes like you who are just in to pay really low fares for your ticket. Who will eventually have to pay the high cost of plane maintenance on the flights you are taking? Could not answer this and then come the awkward silence.
