I think the photos should not be posted here (post in MH section), and MWingers are not allowed to spread the photos around until the official photos rolls in the mainstream media. Or, better not post that at all.

She should learn a thing or two about geology of Japan before making comments. For many years, that country is always threatened with earthquakes, tsunamis and volcano eruptions. It has become part of their cultural acceptance. Extremely crowded nation like Japan adds to the challenge of balancing the threats of natural disasters, lack of natural resources and accommodating the people at the country's small percentages of available flat land. Until now, Japan overcome that challenge, but at the end of the day, human beings are at the mercy of God's act. Sorry, too much talking, I am disappointed with Zoy and now DS Rosmah.

BI 777 is used as passenger flights.

Yes, MAS originally ordered 5 aircrafts, but later converted the orders to All -200ER variant when the company got financial trouble resulting the government took large shareholding of the company. MAS was also among the original launch customer of Boeing 777 - 200X (now it is -200LR).

Wow, some guys down south took this issue as an opportunity. Those policy makers at KKIA need to rethink their strategy, otherwise the airport and the city will lose business.

Today, a New Sabah Times report about this issue contains responses from the MOT. I have to support the ministry for that, and sorry Mr. Fernandez.

Common AK, you want to get more passengers, move to T1, want to tackle MH, move to T1. Here in T1, MAHB even provide aerobridgeless gates so AK can utilize it. Probably next time, a general aviation airport should be built so Sabah Air operations can be moved there, leaving plenty of spaces for T2 (by then a cargo terminal) to expand. Another scenario: plenty of empty spaces around SK Tanjung Aru I and II, and the schools are so so close from the runway and the traffic is so much busier now, although pupils whose classes are in the upper floors are treated to excellent views of T2 tarmac and the runway. The schools should be moved somewhere else to make way for more airport expansion.

I think let AK just stay at T2, if the company thought staying at T2 is good for them and the tourism industry in the state as a whole, let them stay at T2. Probably MAHB should start thinking about connecting between these two terminals using shuttle buses, free of charge would be better. Don't forget, the road leading to T2 is not only used by passengers alone, but also vehicles going in and out from the nearby school (SK Tanjung Aru I and II) especially during morning, midday and late afternoon.

I believe one or two of our relatives that we are aware of, whether distant or a close kin, may be affected by the airport chaos in Egypt. I am now starting to be curious about the whereabouts of my second cousin now.
