  1. 9M-AQT has been transferred to Zest Air Asia as RP-C8987
  2. Slightly o/t, Lion Air 73H PK-LKT was reportedly delivered through KUL overnight. In addition, Firefly's first ATR 72-600 9M-FIA cn 1093 is believed to have left TLS today on delivery. She wears an ever so slight variation to the current scheme with a "bandit mask" around the flightdeck windshields.
  3. A333 9M-XXL isnt far off delivery to KUL. Was spotted outside SIAEC late this afternoon
  4. Nope, just going a long way for overhaul and repaint
  5. Nice shots! The CN295 is very cool.
  6. 739 PK-LBO due 1830 on delivery to Batik
  7. MRK (along with MRL - And MRJ iirc) had their crew rest areas removed a few years ago for use on shorter routes (PER/PEK, etc) most of which now belong in the A333 route network. The higher number of cycles coupled with a general unsuitability for the longer haul routes 777's typically ply was quite possibly a contributing factor. As a side note, the removal of the crew rest area allowed for increased cargo volume in the rear hold by 4 standard LD3 baggage cans (or about 6t)
  8. -MXN when you shot it was bound for Perth!
  9. 73H 9M-MSB due KUL at 1415 as "Malaysian 5473" on delivery
  10. BKI-PER is about 40nm longer than KUL-PER, and KCH-PER is about 250nm shorter again.
  11. If I remember correctly, a set of crew deadhead ex- KUL the day before to ops back to BKI, and the crew operating in deadhead back to KUL the following afternoon. The rumour of 126/127 going to 73H's on increased frequency has been around a while, and for the record it has my support! If it were 5, as you say Sandeep would make crew rotation very easy, in one night, out the next. No deadheading.
  12. I haven't heard which day it is, however I doubt it will be a Sunday so as to not clash or detract from the BKI flight
  13. Rumour suggesting KCH-PER-KCH will start again in July with a once weekly rotation. Will be back of clock (leaving KCH in late afternoon, returning very early morning), using 73H's
  14. Omega DC-10 N974VV escorted some USN Hornets in today
  15. As discussed recently in the BKI pics topic, Gading Sari is acquiring a 2nd 734F. The aircraft, 9M-GSB is on its delivery flight (via northern pacific) and is no stranger to the region, having served Garuda as PK-GZP up until mid 2012.
  16. Post maintenance test flight. A320 does not have fuel dump capability
  17. Unfortunately it looks like the flight is now cancelled - apologies for the late notice, it has only now just disappeared from the system
  18. I wish! Just very curious, as she has been offline for some time now and a recent media release stated that new deliveries to 3K were to replace older aircraft not to boost numbers - although my initial thought was -JSE, F, G as 1) G has already moved on elsewhere and 2) those 3 were built originally to JQ spec which is slightly different to 3K. Having said that, we must not forget VLE, VLF which are totally different again.
  19. A320 9V-JSC is due KCH for a very brief stop at about 1220L today. Post maintenance test flight.
  20. And at risk of repeating old news, my understanding is 73H 9M-LNB will be transferred to Lion Air (as PK-LKS) as more 900ERs are delivered
  21. Malindo's first 900ER 9M-LNF wears titles signifying it as the 7500th 737 built.
  22. Filling part of the void left by the QF restructure
