to be fair , it must have been a really big fire , if after discharging the bottles ( fire extinguishers ) , the little boy still can see flames ... engine failures happen , they should not be overly publicized like this. It only hurts the carrier , in an already highly competitive market. can you imagine what would happen if something like this happened to AirAsia ? This is happening in many places , especially in Europe . Simple supply and demand issue with regards to pilots. Remember , there will always be a very experienced Captain in the left seat , nothing to worry aobut By the way , do you guys know how much the LAE get when they are undergoing their training ? hahaha .. If you compare that to this , then it won't be so shocking ! Okay with more info , it sounds more realistic . He must have lost AC BUS1 / BUS2 What a thing to go through . With that much weight , and no anti-skid , and maybe only flaps 1 or 2 for landing . he must have come in really hot . I would definitely give this a try soon
