  2. I won't be back from Korea in time for the anniversary , I'm sorry . Hope you guys have fun , Walter , you wanna take the lead on this one ?
  3. to be fair , it must have been a really big fire , if after discharging the bottles ( fire extinguishers ) , the little boy still can see flames ... engine failures happen , they should not be overly publicized like this. It only hurts the carrier , in an already highly competitive market. can you imagine what would happen if something like this happened to AirAsia ? All these first time fliers will hear news of the ' kapal air ahsia enjen terbako ' , and will be a big sales drop for them
  4. What a stupid way of describing it ! This line , is totally unnecessary ! it is nowhere ' between ' . it is at the MTB. thats it.
  5. A perfect statement . Many other airlines are quick to make themselves heroes of the incident to steer the media away from the actual incident
  6. I recently booked a flight to Japan on Singapore Airlines On my ticket however , which was booked by my American Express Canada Travel arranger , it states that the Baggage allowance is 2 PC However , upon checking the Singapore Airlines website , it states : So which should I follow I can't take the risk carrying two bags and ending up having troubles during check in .
  7. This is happening in many places , especially in Europe . Simple supply and demand issue with regards to pilots. Remember , there will always be a very experienced Captain in the left seat , nothing to worry aobut By the way , do you guys know how much the LAE get when they are undergoing their training ? hahaha .. If you compare that to this , then it won't be so shocking ! Actually the biggest reason behind this , and this happens very often mind you , and I believe its a smart move by Jetstar , these young guys get their hours , before you know it , they're in Emirates or Etihad . Everybody wants to be a pilot and no one will complain initially , once they're in , everything changes
  8. Wow ATR ! hehehe .. I hold this aircraft close to my heart in the past weeks . Have been spending close to a hundred hours in a ATR72-500 cockpit
  9. so who where the lucky two ? I'm surprised with the affiliation that we have , or for now , what seems to be a dead one . They did not propose an invitation to someone here . I guess we will be overly critical
  10. Okay with more info , it sounds more realistic . He must have lost AC BUS1 / BUS2 What a thing to go through . With that much weight , and no anti-skid , and maybe only flaps 1 or 2 for landing . he must have come in really hot . I would definitely give this a try soon
  11. Each plane 20 million ???? I highly doubt it. I wonder where they get their figures from
  12. Interesting how he ended up in the grass then if it was an instrument failure
  13. THIS IS HOW ACI ShOuOLD BE ! Love the realism !
  14. The video must have been taken the ' two hours later ' ?
  15. With recent developments within AirAsia with regards to Pilot / Engineer / Cabin Crew training , this is impossible
  16. I see, then that explains just a little bit more Any more information to share then ?
  17. Good place to start will be to check the NOTAM ?
